"Get one and pass. Written on these papers are the activities for the month of July." Ms. Hado hands out sheets of paper and asked them to get one and pass to the person behind them.
On the paper, "Calendar of Activities For The Month Of July" written in bold then under it were dates.
Okay so.. First Friday Mass.. Nutrition day.. Fire drill..
"Omg United Nations!" Mina squealed startling the whole class.
Ms. Hado giggled "Yes, I'm sure everybody knows what happens during United Nations day.."
SDA held United Nation day yearly- every levels, every section got to participate. Social Studies club committee is to supervise the event.
Every section have to choose a country, then turn their classrooms like their chosen country. So for example if a section choose Japan, the whole class will decorate their classrooms so that when the other students or faculty teachers visits the room, they will feel like they are in Japan. That includes, props like- a fake Mt. Fuji, a golden buddha, they need to dress traditional clothes, cook the country's delicacies for the students and faculty to try.
If the country the section decided has already been chosen by another section, one has to change their's.Every one will make their own fake passport- as a project for social studies- Mr. Amajiki's club, every student will visit every classroom from 1st year to 4th year and the person in charge of every room, they will stamp the visitors passport. Like how you do when you travel overseas. You need to collect all stamps and stickers to pass the project.
Cultural appropriation has always been an issue to the people who can't understand why SDA is doing this. It's a mere appreciation of the countries culture and tradition- and everyone gets to learn some trivias to the class appointed tour guide, get to see the diversity of every country too.
No classes, everybody gets to eat and dress up, then everybody can go wherever they want inside the campus. Kirishima can't wait for United Nations day.
He just hopes his classmates can choose a country that they can pull off.
"We should do Africa!" Mina suggested to the whole class
"Uhnn, colorful and pretty, I've heard African culture is expressed in their arts and folklores- It's a good idea Ashido-san" Uraraka beamed at her.
"Righhht! How about Africa, class pres?" she asked Kendo- their class president, for approval.
"I like what you are suggesting too Ashido, but we need the opinion of the whole class.."
Aoyama stood up- right hands on his face, posing- "je suis désolé Mina, but I like France better~"
Kendo sighed, this is the start of OLP's AA fight- the whole class dubbed the duo AA for Ashido and Aoyama- always bantering, not agreeing to a single thing. Based on his knowledge the only thing they have ever agreed on was that one time in canteen- Mina taking Aoyama's side of the debate between preferred cheese with Sero.

Everyone was so secretive about how would they surprise teachers ans students with their decorations so even friends won't betray their own class. They have a month to prepare for the props, the dress and foods. And now its only a week and its UN day.
Time flies when you are enjoying.OLP decided with Hawaii , mainly because Mineta convinced the whole class that Hawaii is a holiday spot for both beach lovers and peoples who love to explore wild life and mountains, and Hawaiian food is delicious and unique as it includes various tropical fruits which are grown on island.
