then Denki started playing the bass so as Jirou and Momo, fingers we're dancing gracefully like they can read the strings and keyboard like how'd you'd read sentences.

"𝑾𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈-𝒔𝒊𝒛𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒔.."

Bakugou joined with his drums bopping his head to the beat, hitting the cymbals and drums so perfectly in timing like he had done it a million times.

Kirishima always envies musicians, it's like a natural born talent. He wants to pay attention to the singers but his eyes we're just in Bakugou.

"𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝒔𝒐 𝒔𝒖𝒃𝒕𝒍𝒆
𝑰'𝒎 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒆
𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝑰'𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖"

Was it his imagination or Bakugou met his gaze and smirks at him. He blushed, directing his attention to Jirou who was now joining Monoma singing.

"𝑳𝒆𝒕'𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏 𝑮𝒂𝒚𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒏
𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏' 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑱𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒔𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑼𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒘𝒏,
𝒍𝒆𝒕'𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏 𝑮𝒂𝒚𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒏.."

The juniors and seniors are now filing up the dance floor, dancing to the upbeat song, while at his back, all of the 1st year usher and usherettes had gathered, Mina and Sero mock dancing too, Iida saying that if they are going to dance atleast take it seriously, Kendo and Uraraka making each other twirl.

"𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆
𝑰'𝒎 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒂 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆
𝑰'𝒎 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒅𝒐𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒂 𝒃𝒐𝒏𝒆
𝑰 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒚 𝒐𝒘𝒏
𝑰 𝒈𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒃𝒂𝒃𝒆"

Jirou sang her solo verse- but in the back of his mind he remembered his conversation with Bakugou something about Kirishima was attention seeker, like a puppy without its owner when left alone.

He directed his gaze to Bakugou again, but Bakugou was focused on playing the drums, head still bopping to the beat, and lip syncing the lyrics.

Jirou and Monoma perfectly harmonized together, as the song ended they cheered for their classmates as everyone else clapped waiting for the next song.

Then the band started playing the instrumentals- but it sounded off, like a different version of the original song that he heard already. Now it's just Monoma who's in the center.

"Oh my god It's my favorite song!" Mina jumps up and down

"Ahh, no wonder I hear Denki hummed to this song a million times-" Sero said as he let out a sigh

"𝑯𝒆𝒚, 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝑰 𝒎𝒆𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝑰 𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒆, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝑰'𝒎 𝒐𝒌𝒂𝒚"

Even the way Monoma sings is sounding off, maybe because he heard the original version many times enough, it sounded like way back 80's versions.

"𝑰 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒕 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝑴𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒌𝒆-𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒄𝒂𝒓
𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔, 𝒏𝒐 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝑵𝒐𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒓𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏' 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒍 𝒃𝒂𝒓 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝑰-𝑰-𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝑵𝒐, 𝑰-𝑰-𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑"
