You knew”, Whitney finally murmured after trying to figure out what to say for a while. “How long have you know”
“It’s not really important…” Alexis said trying to change the subject
“How Long?” Whitney asked again; the anger in her voice clearly rising
“He told me a while back but it doesn’t matter so I forgave him and you should too”
Whitney scoffs “Forgive him, I should just forgive him…you know what you guys are unbelievable and I can’t deal with this right now” so she grabs the keys to her new car and storms out of the house.
“She will be alright, just give her time to calm down” David said as he goes in to comfort Alexis “And at least she took the new car, that means she must really like it”, David added trying to break the tension.
“Get your hands off me” Alexis retorted as she pulled away from David “How could you allow our daughter to find out about your other kid before me”
“I thought you said you knew”
“Of course I didn’t, but I wasn’t going to be made a fool by my own daughter”
“I’m so sorry…I wish I”
“I think you should leave this house and this family alone, you’ve done enough damage” and so he left, without carrying anything he left but before leaving right as he was at the door he looked at Alexis one last time, trying to see if he could see that hope in her eyes that always told him everything will be okay, the sign he was so used to seeing in her no matter how much he screwed up, unfortunately he didn’t see it and so he left and just as he left the door the strong woman act that Alexis had put on crumbled. She found herself sobbing uncontrollably because this was the first time she was going to be out alone since she left her parents house Pregnant at 17.
