Rise and Shine

𝑅𝑜𝑛'𝑠 𝑃𝑂𝑉:
I woke up to the smell of sweet vanilla. I squinted my eyes open to see y/n. She looked so peaceful, her eyelashes were fluttering over her freckled cheeks. And her hair was messed all over her face. She was honestly stunning.

But no way was anyone ever going to find out. I would never hear the end of it, and I'm sure she doesn't like me back.

𝐵𝑎𝑐𝑘 𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢:
I woke up to see Ron starring at me.

"Good morning " I said to him with a smile.

"Oh morning" he said quickly as he got up to put on his shirt, "um I'm going to head down stairs to see if anyone wants to go to breakfast" he continued as he rushed out of the room closing the door behind him.

I got up and went over to the girls dorm to get ready for the day.

When I walked in I saw Hermione sitting on her bed reading a book and Ginny brushing out her hair.

"Y/n! Where have you been?" Hermione said to me shutting her book.

"Oh I slept in Ron's room with him" I said while heading over to gather some clothes.

Ginny shot her head up at my words while Hermione started clapping. "What were you lot up to?" Ginny said making a cheeky face at me.

"Nothing we just slept, he was in a hurry this morning anyway. He was acting all flustered" I said shoving them off.

"Maybe you snored!" Ginny said.

"Or maybe he was nervous because he has feelings for you!" Hermione said running up to me.

"Cmon guys there is no way he likes me, he only sees me as his friend. He was just being nice" I said to them I as went to change.

𝑇𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑘𝑓𝑎𝑠𝑡:
Hermione and I sat with the boys, her and Harry on one side and Ron and I on the other. We chatted away about our classes that would be starting tomorrow and who we would have class with.

"I cannot believe Umbridge won't let us use magic in class" Ron said while biting a piece of toast.

"She only talks about that lousy book" I said.

"I don't get why she is so strict, it's totally out of line!" Hermione said to us.

"I guess you could say she is an Umbitch!" Harry said, we all went into a fit of laughter.

"Hello Ron!" a shriek voice said from behind me.

"Oh hello Lavendar, how are you?" Ron turned around to say.

"I'm good! I was wondering" the girl giggled, "would you want to go to Hogsmeade with me this afternoon?" She said to Ron.

"Um sure I'll see you 'round 4?" Ron said to her.

"Perfect! See you!" She said giving him a kiss on his cheek.

I rolled my eyes and made a gagging face at Hermione. "What are you on about y/n?" Ron said.

"Sorry I just- I don't know forget it" I said getting a little upset.

I sulked into my cereal for the rest of breakfast while Harry helped Ron decide what to get her for the date. "Why don't you bring her lavenders?" Harry said. "That sounds like a stupid idea!" Hermione said. "I mean really Ron? Her? There are other girls that I thought you would look better with!" She continued.

"Oh yea like who?" He said. "Y/n you have anyone in mind? " he said.

I had nothing to say, I couldn't tell him I liked him. But I guess this showed that last night really did mean nothing.

Heyyyyy so this is my first story I don't know if it's good or not. I had just been reading a lot of stories and I got inspired to write my own! I know Ron and Lavender don't meet until 6th year but I thought it would help with the story.

I'm probably going to update this pretty frequently since I'm into writing right now! But it may slow down once my break is over. It will probs be 30 chapters.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!!
