Tuesday 6.8.2019, Monaco

The vacation had been so far just what Elza had hoped for and needed. Relaxing and full of laughter. Since Monaco wasn't too big, the girls had already explored the whole city slash country quite comprehensively. Today they were ready to check out from their airbnb and move the party to the ocean. Renting the yacht was all Elza's idea. She wasn't that big fan of boats or ships, or whatever you want to call them, but holiday in Monaco kinda screamed for fancy yachts. She had looked up from the online few months earlier a suitable choice and found one. It wasn't the cheapest overnight stay option but the women figured when sharing the costs, they could afford it. It was once in a lifetime opportunity for them anyways. Well at least for Elza and Ines.

"I'm so excited about this whole floating in the ocean thing, this was a great idea from you Elza," Ines said and helped her friends to get out of the apartment they had stayed for the weekend. "And Kate, your bag weights like 50 kilos. How many pairs of shoes did you bring?"

"Enough for me to borrow you two a pair when you need it," Kate smiled innocently.

"I don't think we really need shoes for the next three days. Let me know if you have bikinis you'd like to borrow and we can discuss about this again," Elza and Kate sometimes borrowed dresses and jackets from each other since they were both about the same height and weight. Ines was almost 10 centimeters shorter than her friends so she didn't bother to join the conversation.

"Let's just go now shall we. I think we are already late. We were supposed to meet the rental guy 2 pm so hurry up," Elza hurried towards the yacht harbor, her friends trying to keep up with her.

Elza's POV

"And here is the third bedroom, so all of you have your own. Is there anything you would like to ask before I go?" We were walking trough the yacht and the guy from the rental company, Steve, was telling us everything we needed to know.

"My only question is, are we really allowed to ask food from the chef whenever we want to?" Kate asked, looking at Steve with wide eyes. Kate really loved eating.

"Yes, the crew is at your service 24/7," Steve confirmed and smiled widely.

"I think I will skip the jewelry photo shoot after I've eaten like a pig for three days," she laughed and made us chuckle too.

"Thank you so much Steve, I think we will be just fine. And it's not like we'll be going too far away from the harbor so I'm sure you guys can see us from you office if we get into a trouble," I said as I walked Steve back to the pier.

"That is very true! Enjoy your time," he shook my hand and started to walk away, back to his car. I scampered back to Ines and Kate who were already at the outside sitting area, waiting for me with glasses of champagne.

"Cheers girls! And ay ay captain, we are ready to sail!" Kate looked at the elder man named Arthur who was in charge of our boat. Arthur smiled brightly to us and walked off to the cabin to start the engines.

I had changed into my black and gold colored bikini quickly and was already back sitting on the lounge area when Kate and Ines arrived. For the past five minutes I had been curiously looking down to the ocean. There were two jet skis driving around a bigger yacht than ours and I also spotted a man standing on the deck of the boat laughing at his friends, at least that's what I assumed they were, who were driving the water scooters. The yacht wasn't too far away from us so I could easily hear them laughing.

"They seem to be having fun," Ines came sitting next to me and looked to the same direction as I was staring.

"I know, too bad we don't have jet skis. I'd love to try it out, it looks really fun."

"Kate have you ever tired one?" I asked from our very own globetrotter.

"No I haven't. I think I would smash it to the side of the yacht," she answered and looked not too impressed.

"This is just an idea and we don't have to act on it but, we are quite close to them. And they are all men and we are beautiful women so," Kate continued taking a bite from the strawberry she was holding between her fingers. As soon as Captain Arthur had disappeared to the cabin, the kitchen staff brought us some fresh fruits and berries. I already felt bad for people serving me and we hadn't been on this boat more than an hour.

"For a second I thought you were being serious, there is no way we're going to ask strangers to lend us their jet skis. That's the worst idea ever," I said first laughing and then shaking my head.

Kate and Ines both looked at me and then each other.

"Girls. There is no way," I started, already feeling  like this conversation was already held in my friends' heads. Like no way.

It was too late. Ines and Kate turned around and sprinted to the small stairs that lead down to the bottom deck. I got up and ran after them as quickly as I could.

"You can't! They are going to think we are crazy. Or-," I tried to stop the girls.

"Or what?" Ines looked at me when I finally caught them. Kate smirked at me and opened her sometimes way too big and loud mouth.

"Excuse me! Hello! Hi guys!" she yelled from the top of her lungs making me cover my ears.

The other jet ski that was closer to our boat slowed the speed down and looked at us. So did also his  friend who was standing on the deck. The other jet ski was somewhere behind their boat, out of our sight.

"Oh you heard me! Wow!  Hello, we are very sorry to bother you guys but me and my girlfriends here were wondering if it would be possible to have a ride with those jet skis?" Oh god, here we go. Kate could be very persuasive when she wanted. Men easily fell for her as well as her ideas.

"Hello there, nice boat you ladies have," the guy sitting on the jet ski answered. I was literally dying right now. This was so embarrassing.

"Blake she was asking you a question," other man yelled from the deck. When I heard his voice I immediately looked up. I saw him smiling widely. He had dark curly hair and very attractive strong looking body. That was really all it took, for me to recognize him.

"Oh my god," I whispered. Ines looked at me and raised her eyebrows.

"Did you recognize the guy standing on the deck? Dark, curly hair," Ines turned her head again and looked at the man. She stayed silent for few minutes before turning her head back to me.

"Oh. My. God. Are you freaking kidding me? This just got so much more interesting," she laughed, throwing her head back. I couldn't help but join her reaction.

Oh boy, I thought to myself.
