1st Saturday
BROOKLYN JASIAH ALI - 16

I walked outside and cursed at all the snow. A good three inches a do right by any bitch.

I slid my boat covered feet down the sidewalk, and snuggled up in my hoodie, coat combo. The leggings under the joggers were really keeping me warm.

It took me ten minutes to get to the cornasto and by then I couldn't feel my feet.

It was a large group of boys blocking off the entrance to the sto' causing me to mug.

They was wearing those gang affiliated windbreakers. They a thing in my city.

"Um is y'all gone move?" I questioned confused, is this even allowed?

"Not until you sign this petition for them to free Bobby Shmurda." A high boy with low red eyes said, and another boy with little dreads tried to hand me an iPad but I pushed it away from my face.

"If y'all don't go on somewhere." They stayed exactly where they were at, looking so serious.

"She kinda fine maybe we should let her through" another boy with low curly hair and hazel eyes said.

"Yes I'm fucking fine and yes y'all better let me the fuck through" I mugged them and they all had the nerve to look disrespected.

"Sign the petition or get get."

"Yeah the owner of the store on our side, he said Bobby his little cousin." The same boy with low eyes said.

They stupid as I don't know what if they believe that at all.

"Man this 'alegal, it ain't never no police 'round here." I kissed my teeth, and they looked at me like I was the crazy one.

"That's some white people shit to say, fuck the police." The boy with the little dreads said, he ugly and so is all his friends.

I take that back, they don't look bad, at all. I just call people that when I'm mad.

"Y'all look stupid ass hell all standing right here." I decided to call them stupid instead, feeling somebody should be honest with them.

I started getting annoyed when I saw they wasn't gone move what so ever.

"Alright, alright. Since you won't sign, tell me what you want, give me the money. I'll go get it." The hazel eyed boy caved in, and they looked at him with wide eyes and mouths, leaking hurt from the betrayal.

"But you gone have to pay a little extra, for not supporting us black boys who tryna get a black man free." The boy with little dreads said.

Now how they gone play the race card with somebody they own race?

I just looked at them like they was dumb.

"Man what is y'all doing?" I turned around hearing a voice behind me, it was actually a sexy boy, with brown skin and diamonds in his mouth.

A little boy stood next to him, a beanie hanging halfway off his head. I'm guessing his little brother, since they resemble each other.

"We trying to get Booby free!" One of them yelled and I rolled my eyes.

"Let this girl pass" he said and they all moved out my way.
