You've come into my humble abode informing me that a writer produced a character that is supposed to be The bully•
Yet additionally decided to make him comical as He replies to insults with even snarkier insults,
The author gave him remarkable good grades, made him caring about his image and hygiene, made clear that he loves his mother and his commitment and loyalty is with his family no matter what not even if they're on the wrong side, STILL THIS AUTHOR DID NOT GIVE HIM A REDEMPTION ARC. SHE HAD A CHARACTER WITH POTENTIAL. SO MUCH POTENTIAL. Us fans are doing what The author had the chance to do but didn't. You can't be mad if people like him, Draco Malfoy is a bitch in canon, but you can do so many glorious things with a character like that and I'm here for it. I'm not gonna deny that he is extremely handsome because he is. But it is everything beneath. I can understand him. Some people can't, but some of us can see what a person is. Why they are acting the way they do, and why they are making the decisions they do. He is misinterpreted and frightened, and he only wanted someone to be there for him, and I feel regretful for him. Some of you see a sinister tyrant who doesn't give a damn regarding anyone but himself, I see a lost guy who was trying to live up to expectations.
He's athletic, he's rich, he's dramatic so he'd understand you, He's extremely loyal. While he is bitter, disconcerted, protective, and pretentious at various turns — like any other teen — he's also sensitive and loyal and wants to please everyone he's loyal to.
When we initially met Draco Malfoy, he was arrogant, prejudiced, and undoubtedly mean. Now take a proper examination at Draco's character and clarify that, although he was assuredly a bit of a git, he was certainly not evil. He's a rebel, a family man, dependant, sensitive but strong, AND HIS HAIR IN YEAR 3...LITERALLY JUST HIM IN YEAR 3. ∞
