When we got back to Hogwarts all hell broke loose

Hermione rushed us into the great hall where everything was explained to us quickly and not in-depth

Voldemort and the death eaters were on their way to Hogwarts to find Harry and attack

I didn't understand much after that but Draco held onto me as if his life depended on it

I knew he saw this coming but I guess he wasn't ready

Mcgonnagal allowed the older kids to fight
" Hogwarts is threatened! Man the boundaries, protect us, do your duty to our school"

But ordered the younger kids and  Slytherin's to the dungeons

She didn't want the slytherins to have to choose between either betraying their families or fighting their friends

Draco didn't want to leave without me

He looked me in the eyes "Don't fight. Come with me." He said

He wanted me to stay safe but Hogwarts was my home. I wasn't going to let them attack without a fight

"I'm going to fight," I said

He shook his head "I can't lose you Ivy"

Blaise came to try and pull him away

Draco tried to resist but Blaise wasn't giving up

I kissed him as Blaise dragged him away

"Blaise! Let me go! Ivy!" Draco yelled as Blaise dragged him out the door

Mcgonnagal then told anyone who didn't want to fight to follow the Slytherins to the dungeons where they would be safe

Draco looked at me from behind the doors where he was tugging to be let go from Blaise's pulling him

They began to leave and Draco broke out of his grasp and ran back into the hall grabbing my shoulders kissing me

"I love you" I whispered to him cupping his face

Blaise came back to get Draco pulling him causing him to slip out of my grasp

Blaise looked at me before leaving

"Don't get yourself killed Barrows...You're actually- pretty decent"

I smiled at him and kissed him on the cheek

He smiled and left without another word.

Yasmine came up to me and rubbed my arm to comfort me

Mcgonagall explained what the plan was

She reminded us we didn't have to fight

I stared at the doors wanting to join Draco

But I stayed put. I prepared myself mentally to fight

We all left the hall to go to different corners of the school because the death eaters could attack from anywhere

I ran up the stairs bumping into Harry Potter

He grabbed me before I could leave

"I wanted to let you know I was sorry. For everything"

I saw how remorseful he was though his eyes
