Before I knew it there was more screaming and we rushed over to the voices

Draco took my hand and didn't let go 

The others were blocking off the entrance so the death eaters couldn't get to the weak

We ran around in different directions trying to help as much as we could

We found ourselves in a hallway

I heard yelling from the left and Draco heard shrieking from the right

"We have to split up"

"No" he said firmly

"Draco! This isn't about me. If we don't split up someone else is going to lose their life!"

"What if you lose your life." 

I looked at him

"That's all that matters to me right now." He said tears in his eyes

I pulled him down to my level and gave him a heartfelt kiss

"Go. Don't think about any of it " 

In all honesty, I was scared something would happen to Draco but I couldn't let that occupy my mind and he had to do the same. We needed to trust each other and fight hard

He kissed me and ran right 

I was so proud of him. I just hoped his fears didn't come to be true

I made my way towards the left just listening 

I heard grunting

Oh my god. I knew that voice 

"PANSY?! PANSY WHERE ARE YOU I'M COMING"

I ran towards her voice to find her holding onto the edge of the broken balcony

"What the hell!"

If she let go she would fall to her death.

I ran over to help her

"You have to trust me. If you sweat you'll slip"

She nodded 

What was worse was she was badly wounded

"I don't know if I should help with my hands or my magic"

She laughed

I shook my head "What's funny! You're so close to death"

She shrugged

"Arent you with them!? Who did this to you"

"I changed my mind... "

"...I'm so sorry ivy" 

"Stop! I shouldn't have been angry with you, you were a good friend."

"I was too prideful" She grunted, "I should've just said sorry i-"

I grabbed her hands and put them around my neck "I forgive you, even though I shouldn't have been such a bitch-"

She seized on and as soon as she had grasped onto me I pulled back with all my force getting us both to a safe place 

"Oh no" she mumbled

I looked behind me to see a death eater

He had one of those stupid death eater masks on but I was vulnerable so I tried to back away

He walked up to us and focused on Pansy

I stepped in front of her 

"Ivy! No" she said painfully making her way back in front of me

Draco walked in and watched as I stepped in front of Pansy again

Draco punched the death eater From behind knocking him out 

I hugged Pansy "We still have so many things to tell each other, and you haven't found love yet! Quit giving up so quickly"

She looked up at me with tears filling her eyes "I found peace in the violence"

i shook my head "You can't tell me there's no point in trying"

There was so much going on with Pansy. We didn't realize she was going through so much. 

"You've been silent for too long Pansy"

"I'm tired of caring. Loving never gave me a home, so I sit here in the silence"

Draco took Pansy into his arms "He's waking up you've got to run" he said

Pansy grunted in pain as two death eaters cornered us

Pansy whispered to Draco to let her down

He was reluctant but he did as she asked

I stepped in front of her again 

A death eater threw a charm at me and with all her force Pansy jumped in front of me taking it

Draco destroyed them both with the killing curse in a fit of rage

I fell on the floor to help her 

She was struggling to breath

"Pansy! Hold on we'll get you to a nurse"

She shook her head and as she took her last breaths she said

"Im sorry ivy.." she coughed

"Dont be sorry! Quit it Pansy!" i complained

 "Thank you Ivy for-" She coughed again but this time with blood and it splattered on my shirt "For trying to save me"

I cried as she took her last breath. 

Draco provided me his shoulder to cry on 

"How was I supposed to save her! She didn't care to be saved!" I cried

"You couldn't do anything Ivy," Draco said tears in his eyes

He took Pansy in his arms again. His bestfriend

Her arms dangling didn't seem right to me

I put her arms on her chest 

Draco walked into the hall and put Pansy on one of the empty beds 

Her best friend Millicent Bulstrode came running over. As soon as she saw Pansy she started sobbing

She screamed and hollered and shook Pansy 

Repeatedly yelling 'Wake up!'

Even if I didn't know Millecent that well I hugged her "She's in a better place" I kept reminding her 

Suddenly we heard voices from outside yelling "HARRY POTTER IS DEAD"

I looked at Draco and he looked at Hermione

Ginny ran outside and we all followed 

We pushed through the crowds of students making our way to the front where we could see

Draco stood right behind me 

He held onto my waist as we watched Hagrid walk in with Voldemort and Nagini and other death eaters such as the Malfoy's

Hagrid held the dead body of Harry with a horrible look of sadness

Ginny screamed and cried 

I looked up at Draco who stood behind me and he also looked disappointed

Even though he hated Harry he whispered to me

"If Harry's gone.."

I nodded 

"We're fucked"
