I woke up to the bright morning sun seeping through the window and the noisy chirping of the birds. Fairies had always loved nature and I did but I didn't find some birds very interesting. They were quite noisy and disturbing.

"Why are you up so early?" A voice beside me asked and I didn't realise that I was in the same bed with the person I guessed was Nathan.

"What the hell are you doing in my room?" I snapped as he turned to face me. I stood up from the bed with my right elbow at akimbo.

"Your room?" He asked this time standing opposite me. "Last time I checked this is my house and you made me stay on this bed last night". He paused waiting for me to take in what he said. " I wanted to leave when I was sure that you were alright but you stopped me".

" Like I will ever do that? You probably tried to take advantage of me when I was unconscious". I scoffed.

His eyes were red with fury. He sighed and left the room after slamming the door.

"Yeah, just leave. Like I would ever want to share the same bed with you". I yelled at his back.

Without any remorse, I made the bed and grabbed a towel for the bathroom without noticing that Tara wasn't home yet.

I walked into Nathan in the hallway and I glared at him angrily. I walked passed him only for him to draw me back and push me against the wall. "What do you think you are doing?" I asked as he looked directly into my eyes.

" I'm doing what I want to do. Why do you look for a means to pick up a fight with me? Why can't you understand that I love you and I'm willing to do anything for you? Is it something I did? Just tell me and I'll apologize".

He paused looking at me for a response. He hated seeing him like this. I wish I could tell him that I loved him too but I can't. I am hurting him to save us both the pain of when I shall finally leave the human world. I am saving his life from my people because they'll kill him if they found out. I wish I could cry into his shoulders and tell him I loved him too.

"Tell me!" He yelled shaking me vigorously. "Nathan let go of me before I lose my temper". I told him flatly. I made thunder roar over the house with lightening striking the roof to try to intemidiate him.

"We'll lose it, I don't care. You must answer my questions whether you want to or not". Nathan shouted.

I pushed him to the wall opposite him with so much force that it broke. "Don't you dare to test the princess of Estaldun". I yelled furiously.

After few minutes of composing myself realization hit me. I ran over to Nathan who was buried under the pile of broken bricks. "What have I done?" I cried. "Nathan, I'm so sorry". I cried removing the bricks from his body. I clutched his head under my bossom then checked for a heart beat. It was faint but was still beating. His face was bloody along with the rest of his back body buried under the bricks. His leg had been badly disfigured. I was about to lose him in a short span of time. I did not want to lose him not now at least. I wish I could hear his voice one last time.

"Don't cry Flora, i don't want to spend the last moments of my life seeing you in tears". Nathan said while coughing out blood. " Nathan, I'm so sorry". I said crying. " I guess this is what I get for loving a fairy. I just need one last wish. I want to know if you love me". Nathan asked.

I nodded. "Yes I love you Nathan. I do". "Now I can go knowing that you love me". He whispered weakly.
"You won't die I promise. I just need to think of a way to save you. My healing powers aren't perfect yet so if I try to use them you might die. I'm running out of options here. I tried to remember what i was taught in the complimentary healing classes my mom forced me to take. I had always preferred combat and spell classes. Wait a minute I can use my blood. Fairy blood contains healing enzymes so if I find some way to transfuse some of my blood...". I shifted him out of the dirt and laid him on the clear floor. I ran into the kitchen, got the first aid kit. Tara would have been in the best place to perform this job considering the fact that she is a healing fairy. By the way where is Tara? I'll worry about that later. I made a cut on my wrist then performed an emergency blood transfusion.
