Hello guys, so sorry for the late update anyway I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Shortly after Andrew left the room Eileen hurriedly ran after him. He walked in a very fast pace that he didn't hear the tired calling of his wife.
As soon as he got Into his chambers he almost slammed the door against Eileen's face. "Oh my gosh, you almost knocked me down you angry bird" Eileen cried jokingly.
"Eileen I am so sorry you know I will never do anything to hurt you it's just that I am so frustrated with everything happening around the palace" Andrew said.
"You don't have to be and remember you always have me around to share your problems as a problem shared is a problem half solved" Eileen told him.
They joined others in the hallway way and walked hand in hand while Andrew carried their baby in his hands.
They proceeded to the hall to present their princess to all of fairy land.
"The future of Alvennia, as beautiful as the morning star, skin as white as snow, with her lips as red as rose, Princess Flora, first fruit of king Andrew and Queen Eileen" Oona the Queen Mother said while extending her hand to carry the child.
Immediately, she was presented to the people of Alvennia some murmurs grew in the crowd as a fairy spat in disgust in what the destiny of the child was.
"She can not unite humans and fairies, no body can and will ever. They are despicable. Never, never, she is only but a child and nothing more." Caitlin, Eileen's sister said in huge disgust.
"Caitlin please can I talk to you for a while". Eileen said slightly annoyed.
"I know humans have hurt you so much but I have encountered with them and they are not all the same, some have very good hearts and will never do anything to hurt another soul" Eileen said as Caitlin joined her at a corner.
Caitlin responded "With all due respect my queen, I will never let her go into their world, they will only pretend to care and drain you when you least expect". She stormed off after speaking.
"What was that all about" Andrew enquired as he came to the spot Caitlin left few minutes ago.
"It's nothing you should care about so can we please go enjoy the rest of our party" Eileen smiled sweetly.
"Sure and do you care for a dance" Andrew asked as the tone of the music changed.
Eileen gladly accepted.
After dancing Andrew's mood suddenly changed which didn't go unnoticed by Eileen.
"Andrew what's going on, you just seem to be in a sad mood all of a sudden" Eileen said as she placed her hand on his right shoulder.
"It's nothing to worry about so how are the guest" Andrew lied while trying to change their conversation.
"Oh stop it, why don't you try to share your feelings, I always do and it hurts me when you think I am not capable of handling any news, I know you too much that it doesn't go unnoticed when you try to lie to me, you always change the topic. Come on I am your wife you can tell me any thing."Eileen cried.
"Okay it's just that ehmm, I'll tell you later tonight." Andrew said walking away from Eileen.
Things went on normally at the party and after a couple of hours the guest started to depart in pairs and later in large groups.
In Eileen and Andrew's room.
After putting Flora to sleep, Eileen came into her room."So about what happened at the function " Eileen said trying to start a conversation and get out of the awkward moment.
"About what " Andrew lied obviously trying to escape her questions.
"Come on Andrew stop pretending and tell me what's going on " Eileen replied feeling concerned.
"You see, Eileen I love you too much that I wouldn't want to tell you anything that would hurt you, so I hide things away from you to protect you." Andrew said while walking towards the end of the bed where Eileen was spotted placing his hand on her cheeks.
"Why do you always see me as someone who is so soft hearted and vulnerable, you never trust me that I could help. " Eileen said angrily.
"Because you are soft hearted and the nicest person I know" Andrew said, clearly proving he wasn't going to tell her his problem.
"Well you can have the room to yourself since you are not ready to tell me" Eileen said grabbing a pillow and storming through the door leaving it ajar.
"How do I tell her that I am worried about us. That I might be forced to take in a new wife if she can't bear a boy. Infact I need to get some fresh air." Andrew thought while flying out the window.
Eileen had already woken up before the shining rays of sunlight showed any sign as fairies don't usually sleep much. Since time is usually longer on this world than the human world as an hour there may only take a moment in the fairy world.
As she walked through the hallway to go into her chambers at the heart of the palace she crossed paths with Andrew and walked away after giving him a not very good stare.
