"Sassy, I'll be back. I have to talk to coach." my brother, Shawn Mendes, told me before disappearing into the crowd of people.

I looked down at the screen of my phone, waiting for a reply from my best friend. I sighed, she's probably sucking her boyfriend off- again.

Does she realise that I'm not just texting her for my health?

Just then someone caught my eye, they were staring at me. I looked at them to recognise who it was, Sam Wilkinson.

He's in my biology class, he sits in the lab tables behind me. I often catch him making (actually funny) jokes about people and lucky me, I'm the main target. I chuckle to myself and go back to my phone.

He slides closer to me, "Hi."

"Hello"

"What's a pretty girl like you doing alone?" Sammy asks me, I feel myself starting to blush.

I told him that I didn't have anyone to hang out with because my friend was with her boyfriend and he actually listening. I honestly was shocked.

We ended up talking and flirting for a while.

"So you have a boyfriend?"

I was just about to answer before I was pulled away by the wrist. I looked up to see my brother, "Shawn! What the hell?"

"Sorry it's just my baby sister is not going to be talking to guys."

"whatever, I'm not a baby" I looked at sammy, he looked very jealous.

Like very very jealous.

After my lecture from Shawn, I went back to talk to Sammy, although, I don't think he was too happy to see me. He kept barely talking to me and ignoring me for half the time.

"What the actual hell is wrong with you?" Instead of being a smart person and walking away, I stayed.

"Go run along to Shawn, clearly your boyfriend wants you to stop talking to me."

I started laughing, "You idiot! Shawn is my fucking brother." I was about to walk away when I was turned around by Sam, his lips pressed to mine.

"Sass, Im sorry. I was just jealous." He confesses, I cannot believe what I am hearing.

"Oh"

"But I've liked you for quite a while now, and I've been meaning to get to know you and talk to you, but I've been pushing it off."

I was lost, "Where are you going with this?"

"Right here: Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Oh, um sure."

Sammy smiled, which made me smile back. I've never really had a boyfriend before, I just didn't find any of the guys attractive - like at all.
