Tom POV "Tom Tom Tom Tom Tom Tom Tom!" I fluttered my eyes open and saw my beautiful best friend Y/n jumping on my bed. "Yes?" I groaned still tired "Oh my gosh Tom wake up your 14!!" I realized today was my birthday. "I am!" I said Y/n sat on my bed and frowned "What?" I asked "We will never be the same age" she said "Oh well." I said I started laughing and she looked at me confused. "What?" She asked "Your 12 and I'm 14" I said "Not for long. Tomorrow I'll be 13" she smirked "That's right" I smiled. "Here" she said She handed me a tiny box and told me to open it. I took off the wrapping and opened the box. There lay a beautiful ring.

"I know you love rings so I got you one!" She said excitedly "Do you like it?" Wow "Hello earth to tommy" "It's beautiful" I said She smiled at me her beautiful smile and I put on the ring. "I love it so much" I said I hugged her then tried to go back to sleep "Nuh-uh" she argued "you are coming with me so hurry up and get dressed" "Ugh fine" she left my room then after a minute I went back to sleep. "THOMAS ANDREW FELTON!" Oops "Come on get dressed" she says barging into my room I finally got up and threw on sweatpants and a t-shirt. I walked out of my room to see y/n waiting for me "I see someone finally decided to get up." "Whatever. What did you want to show me?" "Well you will find out if you follow me" She said We walked down stairs to be greeted by my parents. "Happy birthday Tom!" They said "Y/n has quite the surprise for you so go follow her and have fun" My mom said "Thanks mom! Bye"
I followed y/n outside and she led me to behind her house. "This is my garden as you know" she started "But this" she led me further to see a field of grass with a bunch of flowers and butterflies "is my secret spot" There was a blanket set up with all my favourite foods. "Woah" was all u could say Y/n laughed at my face and we sat down. We are and talked and laughed and it was probably the best birthday breakfast I've had ever. "Thank you y/n/n" "Anything for my best friend." We spent the day doing all my favourite things and I had the best day.
We soon got tired and since tomorrow was Y/ns birthday I went back to my house and went to bed. But first I checked Instagram and smiled
