The girl burst into the bar, looking wildly around as Han and Luke closed the door and Chewie pushed a heavy table against it. "Alright, what now?" Han pressed angrily. "It looks like you ran us into a dead end."
Then Han's eyes widened and he pointed at her accusingly. "I swear, kid, if you're with them and you brought us into a trap-"
"If I was with them why'd they fire at me in the alley?!" The girl countered with a glare.
Before the two of them could get into an argument Luke's head whipped towards the door with a snap, eyes narrowing. "They're here."
"Yeah, no kidding." The girl snapped. The table started moving and Chewie immediately let out a roar and started firing as soon as the terrorists started filing in. They came in droves, and Luke knew immediately that when the leader said they were surrendering that he'd lied.
Luke flipped back behind the bar and the girl scrambled under a table while Han cocked his blaster and hid behind a pillar, all three and Chewie taking turns firing at the onslaught of enemies. A few stragglers made it through the initial wave of blaster fire and hid amongst the bar, and the girl shot one while Luke shot another. "Nice shot, kid!" Luke shouted at her, impressed.
She opened her mouth to respond when Luke saw an enemy sneak up behind her. "Watch it!" He cried, but it was too late.
The man grabbed her by the arms and she let out a squeal of equal anger and fear. Her blaster was wrenched out of her hand and Luke started towards her but froze at what happened next.
The girl broke one of her arms free and punched the man in the nose before grabbing something in her pocket. The lightsaber activated and bore a hole into the man's torso, and he collapsed with a gargle and let the girl go stumbling into the wall. She gasped and let out a small sigh, her wide eyes glued to the corpse in front of her.
But she blinked a few times, snapping herself out of it. She looked up at the blonde man to see him staring at her across the bar, something in his stare she couldn't quite recognize. He slowly put his blaster away and pulled something out of his pocket, igniting it without breaking eye contact with her.
The green lightsaber ignited with a snap and the girl's jaw dropped. He had one too? Maybe they were less rare than she thought. Then, something strange happened. The girl, still looking at Luke, suddenly held the lightsaber up and snapped it instinctively to the left as her brain flashed a warning she couldn't quite explain. The blaster bolt was deflected inches from her head, and she stared at the saber where it deflected off. Somehow she'd known it was coming, subconsciously. But... How?
Meanwhile Luke was watching, awestruck. Her entire interaction with the saber meant that she was definitely Force sensitive, and most importantly unaware of it. Luke blocked a few bolts and pushed some of the men back with the Force, and as he did so the girl watched them fly back in shock. She hadn't heard tales of that power since...
"Kotor'i." She gasped lightly, staring at Luke with a mix of awe and fear. Tales from foreigners like him informed her that one was out and about, but she never thought she'd see him in person. But here he was, standing right in front of her. But she blinked and realized she was still holding the lightsaber, then quickly put it back in her pack and grabbed her blaster again.
Han, Luke, and Chewie cleared out the last of the stragglers while the girl helped from the back albeit hesitantly, and finally the waves stopped coming. Luke gave a loud sigh and deactivated the lightsaber.
"Well, that was... Something." She stated, but some of the fire from before was missing. She kept making glances at Luke as if she was worried, and he stared at her with a small frown.
