The young woman twirled her saber, her light blue eyes skimming over Leena and going straight to Luke. Luke immediately pushed Leena behind him, igniting the blue blade already in his hand with a snap. Upon closer look the enemy didn't seem that much older than Leena; her round face and undeveloped features gave away that she was maybe fifteen or sixteen. What was a teenage girl doing with a lightsaber? And a red one?
"Who are you?" Luke asked tightly, glaring at her while Leena peered over his side with wide eyes.
The girl twirled her saber again with a snarl. "Someone who's been looking forward to seeing what the last Jedi's really made of, especially after capturing your sister was so easy."
Luke slowly lowered into a defensive stance, now holding the saber with both hands. "Keep your blaster on her and when I say run you run." He murmured to her.
"Well no kidding." Leena retorted in a hushed whisper, hiding her shaky hands behind her E-11. She watched, her chest tight, as Luke glared at the girl in front of them and waited for her first move. Her grip on the trigger of her E-11 tightened, and the girl sped towards Luke and slashed towards his right. He blocked with relative ease and Leena scrambled backwards to avoid them at all costs but kept her blaster trained on the enemy like Luke said.
They started clashing and dodging and swerving, and Leena blinked at the sped at which they went. She'd heard about lightsaber duels in the past before but that was much different than seeing one.
Luke dodged a swipe from the girl and kicked her back with a hard jab to the stomach which she left bare. She stumbled back with an oomph, glaring harshly. The Jedi let out a small breath and relaxed his stance a bit, giving her a curious look. "What's a young kid like you doing with so much skill?" He inquired, partially a genuine question and partially to distract her. He could tell the poison was still very much in his system, making his senses less sharp and his movements less fluid.
She scowled. "I'm not that young, and I've been trained." Her lightsaber jabbed towards Luke's stomach, which he swiped away. "To defeat you."
"You might need to practice a bit more before that happens." Luke easily unarmed the girl and kicked her back yet again, sending her against the wall with a gasp. Leena froze, thinking he was going to kill her right then and there, but instead he just held his saber to her throat. "Leena, go outside and comm for backup. Tell them we found Leia's captor."
The distance between the saber and the girl's neck decreased as Leena jogged outside with Luke's comm. "Who are you and how did you find us?"
The girl glared up at him, but her stare was tinged with fear. "I'm not afraid of you." She lied slightly.
Luke sighed. "I don't want to hurt you. Just tell me how you trained and who trained you."
"I was trained by someone better than you'll ever be." She spat angrily, using a sudden Force push to send Luke off balance and calling her saber back to her.
Leena heard the lightsabers clashing again and quickly ran outside, pressing the call button on the comm and wincing at the poor woman who had healed Luke laying dead on the floor. "Hello? Hello, is anyone there?"
"Luke? Hey, who is this?!" Came the alarmed reply. "Where's Luke?!"
"He's in trouble. We're on Narium and we found uh..." Leena struggled to find the right words to describe the girl. "Someone with a red lightsaber who wants to kill us. She's the person who kidnapped Leia, so... Just get over here."
The line was silent for a bit and Leena glared at the comm. "Hey guy, you still there?? Because we seriously could use some help here!"
"Yeah yeah I'm here, cool your jets kid. Just stay calm and stay there, New Republic forces will be there soon alright?"
