Leena looked around the sterile white room hesitantly, squinting at the harshness of the light. She'd never seen a room so lifeless and devoid of any personality in her life; in fact, she was pretty sure she'd never even been to a medical facility before. It wasn't like Raxis Prime had any around.

The door opened and a young man walked in. "Leena?"

"Uh, yeah." She rubbed her arm, suddenly self conscious. She didn't know this man and she didn't know this room, and her skin started crawling with goosebumps due to the unfamiliarity but she tried to not show her discomfort.

"I heard you have a shoulder injury, mind if I take a look?"

"Sure I guess."

"Go ahead and have a seat."

Leena slowly and stiffly sat herself on the medical bed, and the nurse gently grabbed her arm and examined it up to the shoulder. "Any pain or discomfort in your arm at all?"

The kid shook her head, hiding her shaking hand under her by sitting on it. She wasn't sure why she was freaking out, which was making her freak out more. "No."

"Alright, that's good." He leaned in closer and inspected the wound. "Looks like I'll need to inject a bit of numbing agent so I can clean the wound up before putting a bacta salve on it."

Leena nodded stiffly but she felt like she couldn't swallow. Now her jaw was trembling, and the man frowned at her. "Are you alright?"

"Yep."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

He didn't look convinced because Leena didn't look very convincing, but still got the needle ready. As soon as Leena saw it she felt her limbs go numb, as if she couldn't move. Her breathing increased as she started to panic, and the moment it touched her skin she jumped off of bed automatically.

She stood against the wall, wide-eyed as she stared at the needle. "I uh... I don't like those." She stammered.

The nurse frowned lightly. "Okay, we'll make it as easy for you as possible but I need to do this in order for your wound to heal. I promise it won't hurt."

Leena knew logically that it wouldn't but her panic was taking over, making her walk out the door and into the hall quickly. The nurse let her go thankfully, because she sped down the hall and just walked aimlessly for a moment. Her chest felt tight and her head was spinning and she couldn't breathe, couldn't think. She just needed to keep moving or else she felt like she'd explode into a million pieces.

The kid finally made it outside into a large clearing with a fountain and trees, and the sunlight and wind lightly brushing past her made her come back to her senses a bit. She took in a few deep breaths and wiped off tears she didn't even know were on her face before swirling her hand through the water.

Luke finished his debriefing with the commanding officer, then exited the briefing room slowly. As soon as the Falcon had arrived on Klemied he'd stormed out, angry at Leena for being too naive and narrow-minded to realize that by putting herself in danger she'd put them all in danger.

He'd cooled down a bit but was still frustrated at her as he finished the briefing and walked down the hall to where Leia was standing and waiting for him. She had a frown on her face which concerned him. "What?"

"I just got a call from a nurse saying that the girl I dropped off ran out of the room."

Luke sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, saying nothing. Leia chuckled. "She sure seems like a handful."
