*Jamie*

It had been exactly a year since the two girls had seen each other. Jamie was more upset than usual and it was very noticeable. "Jamie sit now." Hannah demanded while taking a seat next to Owen. "Someone's pushy today." Jamie giggled sitting with the two. "We want to see if you are okay, you've been pretty down the last four days." Owen said worried for Jamie. Jamie and the two had grown so close during the year she had lived in London, they were a family now.

"It's been a year." Jamie said tears in her eyes trying to prevent them. Both Owen and Hannah got up immediately to comfort Jamie who allowed the tears to come down once they were both hugging her. "It's alright." Hannah said multiple times while hugging Jamie to comfort her.

*Dani*

Dani was also very high with emotions today. Mostly for the same reasons. Theo and Nellie knew what day it was so they were around Dani a lot. Nellie had moved in with the two girls after she found out by Theo that Arthur was with someone else. Both Dani and Theo were there for Nellie through the 6 months of her breakup but Nellie wasn't one to mourn so she moved on with her life.

Dani wasn't one to move on as easily. Dani walked out of her room with bright red and puffy eyes. Theo and Nellie both wanted to hug their sister but they knew if they tried to be there for Dani without permission Dani would shut off or shut them out.

"Do you want to talk?" Nellie said trying to speak lightly for Dani. Dani just nodded her head eyes filling with tears again. They both counted this as acceptance to be there for Dani so they both immediately went to hug Dani.

Once Dani calmed down a bit Nellie got up to call the school to let them know Dani wouldn't be able to teach her students. They didn't question why because Dani hadn't missed a day of work since she started working at the school.

*Jamie*

Jamie decided to not work today calling Charlotte to tell her and already told Owen and Hannah. Jamie considered calling Dani but knew she couldn't because it would pain both her and Dani. Instead she called Laura who was dating Jamie. Jamie asked Laura to come over not knowing what Jamie was doing.

Soon after the call Laura arrived at Jamie's flat curious to why she called mid-day and why she wasn't at work. She say Jamie had puffy eyes so she began to worry. "Babe are you okay?" Laura said trying to comfort Jamie. "Please don't call me that." Jamie said keeping Laura at a distance. "What's going on?" Laura asked worried about what would come out of Jamie's mouth next. "I can't be with you,  I can't love you if you love me, it's not fair for either of us to be in an incomplete relationship." Jamie said to Laura who was clearly upset.

"Why. Did I do something?" Laura said tears in her eyes. "You did nothing this is my fault." Jamie said trying to comfort Laura who declined. "I need to go." was the last thing Laura said before she left Jamie's flat.

Jamie decided to go downstairs because she knew it was best if she wasn't fully alone right now. Jamie sat at the bar and waited for someone to ask what she wanted to drink. Owen had come over giving Jamie her favorite without having Jamie ask. "You know I only buy this when it's a special occasion I can't buy this right now." Jamie said not touching the drink given to her. "Your not paying for it the man over there is." Owen said pointing to a guy that was sitting across the bar. "This is going to be lovely" Jamie said putting her head in her hands looking back up to see the man across the bar was moving towards her.

"Not interested sorry." Jamie said not looking at the man who now sat next to her. "Neither am I." The man laughed. "You seemed upset so I figured the least I could do was buy you a drink." He continued. "Sorry, thank you appreciate it." Jamie said now looking at the man seeing why he clearly wasn't interested either. "Now you see that I'm gay, I'm Daniel." Daniel said putting his hand out for Jamie. "Jamie" Jamie said as she accept the hand.
