Dani didn't want to leave Jamie but also wanted to know where she would go if she went with Charlotte. Dani had a feeling Charlotte wanted to talk to her about something without Jamie around so figured with how kind Charlotte is she would show some kindness to her.

"I'd love to go with you Charlotte." Dani said with a smile. Dani did see Jamie small frown but knew Jamie was fine with it. "Great! Just give me a minute to close up." Charlotte said heading into the back.

"Whyyy." Jamie said pouting. "Stop that." Dani said with a light chuckle. "You nervous?" Jamie asked noticing Dani's nervousness. "Yes because I don't know where I'll be going." Dani said with a nervous look. "Don't worry she's not luring you out to kill you. She's the kindest person in all London." Jamie said clearly trying to cheer Dani up.

"Alright I'm ready!" Charlotte said rushing herself. "Thank you again Jamie, and thank you for allowing me to take you Dani." Charlotte said getting excited. "Right well I'll be off." Jamie said with a small frown but hid it. "We will be too." Charlotte said following Jamie out the door.

Dani followed a Charlotte to the car and was hesitant and on where to sit. "Darling you can sit up front." Charlotte said looking at Dani with a smile. Dani was immediately confused on how Charlotte knew about Dani's confusion but let it slide.

The car ride was easy and calm. The two talked about small things and figured out a few things in common. "Right were here." Charlotte said parking the car. The car was parked in a dirt lot with a small path.

"Like Jamie said not out here to kill you." Charlotte said with a laugh. "You heard that?" Dani asked curiously. "It's a small shop, you can hear almost everything." Charlotte said with a large smile. "Follow me." Charlotte said walking on the small path.

The small path led to a small but beautiful lake. The lake reflected all of the tress and bushes onto the water perfectly. "Oh this is beautiful." Dani said with her eyes touring every area of the lake. "Looks beautiful but the stories aren't." Charlotte said with a small frown.

"What do you mean?" Dani asked now focused on Charlotte. "Well there are many stories about the lake. Many of them aren't too pretty." Charlotte said. "The very popular story is The Lady of The Lake." Charlotte continued. "Would you mind telling me it?" Dani asked intrigued. "Alright let's sit." Charlotte said pointing to small wood stumps one for each of them.

"Someone told a story about the lake that became very popular. I went something like this. A long time ago there was a couple who used to come to this lake all of the time. They came almost every summer until the wife went into the water never to be seen again. Ever since then her husband and daughter have never returned. Now it is rumored she haunts the lake so no one comes here anymore." Charlotte said finishing the story.

"Do you think it's true?" Dani asked with a small hint of fear. "I know it's true, but I know she means no harm to visitors." Charlotte said looking at the lake. "How do you know?" Dani asked which received a confused look from Charlotte.

"That it's true." Dani said continuing her question. "A gift I guess you'd call it." Charlotte said with a smile. Dani was left with a confused look which Charlotte answered. "I can read people, dead or alive. The presence, feelings, things like that." She said with a smile.

"So can you feel her?" Dani asked curious. "Yes, I can hear her too." Charlotte said. "What is she saying?" Dani asked. "She says she feels your fear and there is no need to fear her." Charlotte answered.

"So why is she still at the lake? Isn't she supposed to be in the after life?" Dani asked filled with curiosity. "She hasn't been put to rest, the thing she desires to see one last time hasn't come so she can't leave yet. After she is put to rest she will join the others in the afterlife." Charlotte said.
