Koshi Sugawara X Genderfluid! Pan! Reader (Haikyuu!!) {Introducing!}

Note: Reader uses he/him, she/her and they/them pronouns. I have chosen to use they/them when talking about the reader's actions and such.

Summary: Sugawara introduces his parter to the team and the team is just as chaotic as usual.

"Are you sure they're gonna be okay with me?" (Y/n) asks Sugawara, who grips their hand tighter. Today was the day Sugawara's partner had agreed to be introduced to the team. Of course (Y/n) was feeling nervous about it, wanting to make a good impression and all.

"Don't worry love, they're gonna like you. How could they not, you're way to cute to be hated by anyone." He smiles sweetly, trying his best to comfort them. "Ready?" He asks with his hand on the door. He gets a nod as for a response and slides the gym door open.

"Suga!" Daichi shouts as he passes the ball to Kageyama. "You're late!" 

He rubs the back of his neck with his free hand, "sorry sorry..." He trails off as Hinata spikes the ball but Nishinoya saves it, Tsukishima spikes it and makes it over the net some how. (Y/n) looks over at Yachi and Yamaguchi working on his serves. 

"Oh!" Hinata's eye light up, "is that (Y/n)?" He points over to Sugawara's partner before getting smacked in the back of the head by a ball. "Pay attention, dumbass!" Kageyama yells, "You just lost us a point!"

"Alright you two, let's take a small break." Daichi says and glares over at Sugawara, "and then we can add this slacker in."

"Hey now I was just being a good boyfriend!" He defends himself and holds up his hand that's intertwined with (Y/n)'s. "See!"

Azumane was the first to introduce himself, "I'm Azumane, nice to meet you."

"You already know (Y/n), Asahi." Sugawara sighs.

"Yeah, I know..." He trails off as the two are still shaking hands. (Y/n) chuckles at this, wondering how long this will last.

"You already know Daichi and Shimizu but Daichi is the captain and Shimizu is the manager."

"Nice seeing you again." (Y/n) says to Shimizu who smiles in reply, "nice to see you too."

"How long are you gonna keep shaking his hand?" Daichi whispers to Azumane, he looks down and slowly puts down their hand. "I'm so sorry." He bows and (Y/n) smiles, their nerves completely gone.

"Wait..." Hinata trails off but he is a loud mouth so everyone can hear what he is saying. He looks at (Y/n) very confused but doesn't want to ask.

"Pronouns?" They ask with a small smile. Hinata nods in response but he smacked in the arm by Kageyama, "that's rude you know."

"Not at all," (Y/n) lets go of Sugawara's hand and walks over the the first years. "Introducing yourself is easy. My name is (Y/n) and I use she/her, he/him and they/them pronoun. It's nice to meet you." They hold out their hand for one of them to shake.

Yachi steps in without skipping a beat, "I'm Yachi, she/her. It's nice to meet you too."

"Kageyama, uh he/him, nice to meet you." The setter says with a small hint of confusion in his voice.

The other first years went around introducing themselves until finally the second years came and introduced themselves. Kinoshita, Narita and Ennoshita all properly introduces themselves. Meaning they didn't have a weird aura around them when they walked over to where everyone else was at.

"Yo!" Nishinoya shouts with his sunshine smiles, "the name's Nishinoya and I use he/him but that doesn't matter!"

"....Huh?" (Y/n) mutters in confusion as the later second year introduces himself.
