MLM! Tanjirou X MLM! Male! Reader (Demon Slayer) {Poison Spirit}

Okay so season two has just started airing (as I am typing this, it started today) so I am going to avoid any spoilers but this will take place after the movie. Mostly because there is a little skip were everyone goes out on their own solo missions. Which is way better than what I had in mind lol.

Summary: The reader is deadly sick with a worried Tanjirou by his side

Note: MLM is men love men, it covers any sexuality that has a man loving another man

Warning: mentions of poison and wounds

"Tanjirou! Inosuke! Zenitsu!" A crow called, circling above the Butterfly Mansion. "(Y/n)!" The boys finally heard his call and halt their training session. "Collapsed! Northeast! (Y/n)! Collapsed!"

Tanjirou spirits out of the garden and in the direction the crow was flying. The other two looked each other. "Didn't he go on a solo mission?" Zenitsu mumbles to himself.

"Yeah but this is (Y/n) we're talking about! He's the only one who's strength rivals mine!" Inosuke replies, "I'm sure he's just fine!"

The girls who take care of them; Sumi, Kiyo and Naho, come out of the mansion. "Is something wrong?" Kiyo asks. 

"Where's Tanjirou?" Sumi questions. "Shouldn't (Y/n) be back by now?"

Both getting a bad feeling, Zenitsu and Inosuke race past them without explaining. "We'll be back!" Zenitsu calls behind him and they leave the property.

Tanjirou was still a little ways away from (Y/n). The demon he was facing was killed and the sun had started to rise. No more danger would threaten him as he laid passed out onto the ground. His swords point was plugged into the ground slightly in front of him.

He's breathing was slow and shallow, very few wounds covered his body. It was like his fight or flight instinct took over even while he was passed out. The demon he had faced was not a low ranking one for sure. 

An hour after leaving the mansion, Tanjirou had found him. "(Y/n)!" He called out and held his head in his arms. The smell of poison entered his nose causing him to cover it. Panic took over. He checks his wrist for a pules. "Thank goodness." He mumbles, moving (Y/n) around to carry him on his back. Being careful to not touch any wounds.

He starts to run as fast as he could, knowing he's far from the mansion. Luck was on his side, he spots Inosuke running at max speed towards him. "Manjirou!" He calls out and stop running, "did you find him!?"

"Yeah!" He responds, "but he's passed out! Take him back to the mansion!" They met up and Inosuke puts (Y/n) on his back. "I smelled poison as soon as I got close. But it shouldn't have spread too much considering how he is breathing."

Under pressure, Inosuke is way more corporative and less aggressive. He understands how important he is to Tanjirou as well as a good friend of his. "What are you gonna do?"

"Find Shinobu." He says as Zenitsu finally caught up to them.

"Got it I'll the the brats take care of him and help with the search." They both start running back towards the mansion, Zenitsu trailing behind him. He doesn't ask any questions, too busy catching his breath.

By the time they had found Shinobu and were back to the mansion, (Y/n)'s breathing was almost nonexistent. She pulls out all of her antidotes and shoves the boys out of the room. "He's going to be more stressed out if you guys are worrying so much about him." She says and slides the door closed.

They stand outside the room for awhile before Tanjirou heads to the training room. "Where are you going?" Zenitsu follows him with Inosuke trailing behind.
