I made it to my room and opened the door rushing to my trunk. I grabbed my robes and slammed the door shut. i placed my hands on the sink, my head dropped. Aiden is going tell bloody everyone about what he saw. i shook my head and got dressed. i brushed my hair thoroughly. i grabbed my wand and my books, i ran out of our dorm and straight to the library. i wasn't that hungry and i did not want to deal with all their rubbish. once i got to the library i went to my favorite section and grabbed a random book, with any luck i will be able to read this through.

i sat in one of the chairs in front of the wall of books and started reading. my mind drifted elsewhere as i read every single word. i hadn't noticed the person standing there watching me. the main character of the book did something completely barbaric and my reaction said it all. my hand drifted to my forehead and i looked over at my left. Adrian Pucey. i did a double take and about jumped out of my knickers. "bloody hell Pucey! you almost made me have a heart attack!" i said with a sigh. "sorry love, it was just so captivating watching you read." he said sitting down next to me.

"well the book is bloody great and i get lost while reading." i retort. "breakfast was over awhile ago, and you weren't there, i was worried." he rubbed the back of his neck. "oh shit, i have Transfiguration! McGonagal is going to kill me!" i said gathering my stuff. i reached for my book when his hand caught mine. "Katie, i was kidding. it ended 2 minutes ago!" he put his hands up. i rolled my eyes hitting him with my book, which was a hard cover.

"you blithering idiot!" i laughed. he was bent over with laughter. i chuckled. "we had better get to class though." i stated. "yeah let's go."he agreed. we walked down the corridor to Transfiguration and spoke about Quidditch. he was very nice, and hot too. we got to our class and sat down, he sat with Aiden in the table beside me, and none other than Draco. Draco was already there, his face dressed with his signature scowl.

i sat my stuff down prepared to hear it for skipping breakfast, but to my surprise he barley even noticed i was there. i rolled my eyes and opened my book. the classroom was filled with laughter and speech. i sat there waiting to start with my face in my elbows. "alright students! quiet down! open your books and turn to page 562! today we will cover a new section." McGonagal spoke. the class didn't speak, but obliged.

class seemed to drag on forever, i would occasionally catch Draco's glance. he would scoff and continue listening. he was sweet last night, what happened? class ended and it was my free period. i went to the court yard to finish reading my book. i sat on the stone bench and reached into my bag to grab my book. when out of nowhere two hands covered my eyes. "guess who!" the voice said. "Blaise!" i said. he laughed and sat beside me.

"what are you reading?" he grabbed the book out my hands. "it's about a girl who's mother turns into a wolf every full moon and their farmhand figures out, that's what i've read so far." i explained. "booooring!" he yells. i scoff and cross my eyes. he sat the book down. "what do you like to read then if not fiction?" i asked. "you mistake me Kat, i don't read unless forced." he laughed. "your crazy Zabini." i said.
"you love me." he smiled

"that i do, but you are bloody annoying." i smirked. he rolled his eyes. "alright, i'll let you get back to your book you git." he says. "thanks." i say opening my book back up. Blaise walked away and i got sweeped back into  the world of words that is books. i read for the rest of the time until my next class, potions. my  favorite. Snape actually likes me. i'm good at potions too.

i got my things, quickly walking to his room underneath. me and Aiden were potion partners. yay. Briar was Draco's. i entered the classroom and sat down at my desk. Aiden wasn't there yet so i decided to read through the potions book for extra knowledge. we have Gryffindor as our other house. Potter and his friends were in the desks next to us.

Saint Potter. always has to be the star and the center of attention. Merlin, how i loathe him. Draco hates him just as much as i. people started to enter the class. Aiden followed close behind. he came and sat down. he looked nervous. "hey Aiden." i said. "hi." was all he responded with.

as the student settled down, Snape came in and piped us down. "turn to page 398. we are going to continue or studies on the Amortentia potion. can anyone tell me what this potion is?" he asked in his normal monotone voice. i raised my hand first "yes Mrs. Johnson?" he called on me. "it's a love potion, sir, anyone who smells it is said to smell different things according to what attracts them the most." i explained.

"excellent, 5 points to Slytherin." he said. i smirked indignantly. "each of you will brew this potion and give a report on what you smell. you may start." he says. i immediately gather the ingredients i need. Snape was walking around the room eying the students potions. i was already halfway done with mine before he made it around the class to me.

he looked down at mine then back up to me. "Mrs. Johnson's potion is perfect, while some of yours looks like bile." he snapped. i made a small smile knowing all eyes were on me. i continued on mine until i felt a tap on my shoulder. "Katie!" he said. i turned to see Pucey looking at me.

"yes?" i asked. he looked nervous. "i was wondering if you would like to go to the owlry later." he asked. i nodded my head. "of course!" i agreed. he smiled and went back to his potion. i tended to mine. meanwhile Dracos potion was brewing, something else was as well, jealousy.
