Was I dead?
All I saw was a bright light. I half expected to see an angel float towards me, but the sane part of me told me this was an unexpected visitor. Wait, that wasn't my mind.
"Audri...Audri! I can see you! Can you hear me? Audri!" a voice hidden in the light called.
"No, the light is too bright!" I yelled back. I din't know who the voice belonged to, but I had a feeling I knew the voice's owner.
A sigh was the reply. "It isn't time, then. Well, just keep listening to Mythra! She will know what to do! And trust none! Trust no...." The voice faded away, and suddenly the world was covered in a blanket of darkness.
"Hello? Hello? Where did you go? Hello?!" I shouted to nothing.
"Kid! Hey, kid, wake up!" I was suddenly being shaken awake. A nurse in grey holding a...... I don't know what it was. It looked like a blob of white
I sat up. I was in a grey and silver room on an uncomfortable cot with nurses surrounding me, all of them gripping the white things.The nurse that woke me up let out a breath and said something to an official-looking woman. The woman nodded and murmured something back to her. The quietly talked while I took in my surroundings.
I noticed a young girl in a white cotton dress looking at me. She had dark brown eyes and waist-length blonde hair. She stared at me with a blank emotion. "It is time," she whispered, then vanished with a blur of color.
