Sometime later

Pyrrha took a seat beside her girlfriend, sliding a mug of coffee towards the Valentine. Stella gave Pyrrha a sad smile. "Thanks angel."

"You had good intentions.. giving Kiko hope." Pyrrha insisted, taking a sip of hot chocolate, which she had made for herself. "Yeah but it ended up being false hope.. I.. I can't believe Leon and Abra are dead.." Stella blurted.

Pyrrha's face fell, as she thought back to one of the more recent and memorable interactions she had with Leon.

"So what is the news, Leon?" Pyrrha asked, excitedly. "Well.." Leon trailed off, a goofy smile on his lips. "I have decided that the time is right." He said, pulling a small box from his pocket. Pyrrha, Weiss and Jaune all gasped, realising what it was. The Trinity opened the box, revealing a silver ring, that shone brightly in the light. "Oh my god— you're going to propose to Nova!! Aah— This makes me so happy!" Weiss boomed, before she threw her arms around Leon. "Leon! That's SO exciting!!" Jaune boomed, with a grin. "I'm so happy for you guys." Pyrrha smiled.

The redhead's face fell, realising that exciting moment Leon had planned, was never going to come.. and Nova had no idea. He had no idea that Leon wanted them to be wed, for them to spend the rest of their lives together and grow old with eachother. That chance had been taken away, by somebody on this ship that brutally murdered him.

"Abra was so sweet.. she never did anything wrong to anyone.. she may have been shy, but she was always so supportive and sweet." Stella sighed. "She deserved better. So did Leon." The pinkette admitted. "We all do." Pyrrha hummed, placing her hand on Stella's. "None of us deserve this." Stella agreed, "Yeah.. we do deserve better. All of us.." The Valentine trailed off.

The pair then fell quiet, as they sipped their hot beverages in peace.

Ari had gone to their room, leaving Jasper and Yang together. Yang had an arm loosely around Jasper's shoulder, as she had been trying to comfort the boy.

He was quite down about Leon and Abra's deaths.. and he wanted nothing more than to find the murderer.

"I just want this to be over.. y'know? Davina is gone— why is this still happening?" The brunette huffed, frustratedly. Yang sighed, "I really don't know Ace.. maybe Davina was working with somebody.." She suggested. "Who would even do such a thing?!" The Clarke snapped

"I don't know!!"

Jasper sighed, "I'm sorry Yang— I'm so tired.. of everything! I just.. I want things to go back to normal.. to feel safe again! I.. want to go home.." The Clarke admitted sadly. Yang's face fell, understanding how he felt. She felt the same.

"We're going to get out of this mess, Ace. This can't last forever— it can't!" Yang demanded. Jasper nodded, wanting to believe her. He needed hope.

The pair reached Jasper's room, as he had decided he wanted to lie down, and be alone. "You sure you want to be alone?" Yang asked, concerned. Jasper nodded, "Yeah I'm sure. Jaune will probably be here any moment, anyway." He smiled. "Alright, see you." Yang smiled, turning to walk towards her dorm, which she was now sharing with Weiss.

"Hey Yang—" Jasper called out, as the golden haired girl spun around, facing him. Suddenly, lost for words, the brunette blushed. "It.. it doesn't matter.." He admitted. It was clear Jasper wanted to say something, or do something.. but he was holding himself back.

Yang smiled before turning back around to walk away, but stopped. Without thinking too much about it, she spun back around and raced towards Jasper.

Surprisingly the hell out of both of them, she kissed him. They broke apart, Jasper blushing madly, and speechless. Yang just giggled, "Bye Ace." She said, before leaving, this time for real.

Blake looked on security system, hoping to find something suspicious. Maeve was sitting in the chair beside her, watching the girl look at the screen so seriously. The pair had completed their tasks and decided to do their own investigation.

"Found anything suspicious?" Maeve asked, as Blake shook her head. "Surely there is something on here— there's gotta be! How did we lose two crewmates in such a small span of time?" Blake blurted. Maeve frowned, still upset by the thought of Leon and Abra being dead.

Neither Blake or Maeve were very close with Abra or Leon, but their losses still hurt deeply. The once 24 astronauts on this ship had spent years together, they had all become quite a tight knit group. Now it felt like they could hardly trust eachother.

Maeve reached out, placing her hand on Blake's. The Belladonna, now distracted from the screen, turned to her girlfriend. "Why don't we go for a walk to O2 and Navigation and have a proper look? There could be some sort of evidence up close." The fox faunus admitted. "Yeah.." Blake nodded, thinking that was a good idea.

"We'll get Elena and Jenni to come with us, I think the more eyes the better.. as long as it's a small trusted group." Blake decided, as Maeve nodded. "That's a good idea.

The idea went through her head they could invite Enzo, Adam and Alec on their little investigation, but decided against it.

Jaune sat in Navigation, in Leon's chair, as misery filled him. He felt so empty, without his best friend.

The blonde pulled open a drawer, finding a small box inside it. It was the engagement ring Leon had bought for Nova. Jaune's heart sunk, realising that Leon would never get the chance to propose, Leon and Nova would never get married and had lost the chance they had of spending their lives together.

Jaune sighed, closing the drawer. He didn't know whether to tell Nova or not.. for now he knew it was too soon, but he wasn't sure if it was ever the right time to tell him the truth.

Nora walked in, "Hey Jaune." She said softly, as Jaune spun around in his seat, facing the Valkyrie. "Hey Nora." He replied, trying to smile back, but his smile looked sad.

Nora sat into Jaune's seat, sinking into it comfortably. "I hope we can get through this.." The girl sighed. Jaune looked to her, with an empathetic look. "I really hope so too." He insisted.
