Early that morning

Pyrrha rolls in her bed, finding it difficult to fall asleep. She sighs, rolling to face Stella who is somehow sleeping so peacefully. She smiles at her girlfriend, before quietly getting up.

The redhead passed Kiko's bed, on the floor, as the girl is hugging a chameleon plushie. Pyrrha then opens the door and closes it as quietly as she could.

Without a second thought, she rushes into weapons, grabbing Miló. Holding the weapon in it's spear form, she walks towards the kitchen.

It was eerily quiet, the Nikos felt like she could hear every creak.. every slight movement.. every wire letting off a zap sound. It was eery as fuck.

Pyrrha now enters the kitchen, just about jumping through the roof when she bumps into Nova.

"Oh my gosh!" She flinched, before holding out her weapon. "It's just me!" Nova replied, holding his arms up in the air. "You're not carrying your weapon?" Pyrrha asked. "You are??" Nova retaliated.

The redhead lowers the spear before looking at the taller, panther faunus. "It's... hard to trust anybody." She admits. Nova nods, "I know what you mean... though currently I don't really care if I live or if I die." The Pierce admits, going to exit the kitchen.

"I'm really sorry about Leon." Pyrrha quickly says as Nova tenses up. "I can't begin to imagine how you must be feeling.." The Nikos sighs. "To truly love another person is to accept the work of loving them is worth the pain of losing them... Ari told me that. I just.. didn't think I'd have to understand their words so soon." The panther managed to say, sounding choked up, as his shoulders slumped.

With that, Nova left the kitchen, leaving Pyrrha to think about his words.

The tall girl decides to get a snack, hoping to get her mind off of things. With a theme of people losing their other halves, Pyrrha was absolutely petrified of losing Stella.. to the point where it was keeping her up at night.

Now that she was all alone, Pyrrha let tears fall. The built up stress and anxiety, she let it all out as she cried.

Several minutes pass, and she felt at least a bit better. Pyrrha wipes her eyes before going to leave the kitchen, but she stopped upon noticing the coffee pot sitting on the bench.

She gave it a confused look, before walking over to it. It was cold, indicating that it had been sitting there for a while, and it was clear that people had helped themselves to it.

Pyrrha sniffed the coffee, pulling her face away from the coffee pot as it had an unusual smell to it. Thinking nothing of it, she poured it down the sink, before turning away to leave the kitchen.

Later that morning

Weiss' eyes flutter open, as she heard nothing but stillness. "Good morning Yang." She greets her best friend, whose room she had moved into since Ruby and Davina were no longer with them, before rolling over to look at the Xiao Long, whose bed was on the other side of the bedroom.

Getting no answer she asks, "..Yang?"

The Schnee gets out of her bed and races over to Yang, shaking her awake as she worries. "Yang!? Yang!? Wake up!!" She pleaded, as her eyes filled with tears.
