Chapter 4: Who Was He?

Dream's POV

The days in the town were the same everyday. Get up, go to the cafe for hours, get home, game with Sapnap and Bad, repeat. Pretty boring life, but I liked the cafe.
It was my own escape from this fucked up world.

I was sitting doing my usual thing, when someone walked in. I didn't recognize him, but he looked nice. Brown hair, browns eyes, freckles, not many freckles but they were there. Of course I payed attention to him since he was a pretty cute guy who I've never seen before in my town of 300 people max. Everybody knew each other here, even if we aren't friends we still know who we are. So naturally this boy caught my eye.

I knew he was looking at me but I didn't want to say anything about it. I just assumed he was stopping by for some coffee while on a road trip or something, I didn't expect to see him again.

I got home and hopped on Discord hoping that my friend would pick up, of course he did.

"Hey Sappy!" Dream shouted

"Oh, it's just you." Sapnap said in a joking manner

"You missed me don't lie." Dream laughed

"Okay maybe a little." Sapnap whispered

We gave each other names, I'm Dream and he's Sapnap. We should be Clay and Nick but we just adapted to these names. He's really my only friend in the town apart from Bad and Techno, I never really learnt what their real names were.

Anyways... I talked with Sapnap for hours while playing minecraft. I kept on mentioning this guy I saw at the cafe. Sapnap found it a little odd for me to be talking about this guy. It was always him telling me about these girls, never me telling him about the guys.

I don't see why he caught my eye. Everyday I see new people come in and out of this cafe. I don't know why this specific dude kept coming to my attention.

He was most likely on a road trip and I would never see him again.

A few days had passed and of course like I guessed, I didn't see that guy again. Until Tuesday, it was April 22, I don't know why I remembered the day but I just did.
I was sitting doing my casual thing, when I heard the bell ring on the door. I looked over and saw him, brown hair, brown eyes, that smile. He looked at me the moment he stepped inside. I don't think he noticed that we made eye contact since I didn't see a reaction off his face except for a tiny smirk which had just appeared.

My day got better, I kept on looking up at him without really noticing it. We made eye contact again, I walked up to his table while his face got very red. I was standing at his table, clearly much taller then he was, I sat down and greeted myself.

He seemed shy so I started talking to him about my day. After a bit of small talk and a few giggles, he opened up. I couldn't tell how fast time was passing before he had to go.

I met up with Sapnap after that. I told him all about George. He wanted to meet George so I invited him next time we met up.

We could be like a little trio.
