Chapter 9

Five and I had left the lab and went back to the academy. "How the hell are we going to find the owner of the eye i mean we have to get someone to-"

"how about klaus?" I interrupted five. He shot his head to me. "Are you crazy! He is too-" I nudged five to stop saying anything as we were going inside the academy. "I can bribe him to be our 'father' for the time being. Don't say anything i will do it."

We entered fives room to start planning. I heard vanya's soft voice calling our name. She opened fives door and I turned to her. "Oh thank god. I was worried sick about you both." she walked towards us. "Sorry we left without saying goodbye." I looked down and started to fidget with my thumb.

"no, look I'm the one that should be sorry. yeah I was dismissive, and I-I guess I didn't know how to process what you were saying. And I still can't to be honest." Five looked at me and back at Vanya. "maybe you were right to be dismissive. Maybe it wasn't real at all. It felt real, well like you said, the old man did say time travel could contaminate the mind."

I was confused but Five gave me a look telling me to play along with it. "Well you can talk to a therapist, maybe they can help you." I put my hand on fives shoulder smiling at him.

"Yeah Alaya is correct maybe I'm not the right person to talk to. I know a therapist I can give you their information." Five gave a little smile which I rarely see. "Thanks, but I thing I'm just gonna get some rest. Its been a long time since I've had a good sleep." Vanya smiles at five and I and walked out of the room.

fives head snapped to the closet when he heard a clattering noise. "ah finally its tight in their-" klaus was tumbling out of the wardrobe. "What are you doing here!?" Five said confused.

"Oh I persuaded him and somehow ended up in here." I said smirking and helped klaus up.

"That's so touching, all that stuff about family and dad and time. Wow!" Klaus was walking towards fives bed. "Would you shut up? She'll hear you." five wasn't planning to have klaus in on this but it was the most efficient and easiest way to get someone.

"I'm moist." I nudged klaus' side making him shut up. "why are you not wearing something professional?" I glared at five. I mean that was rude. "Hey don't listen to him you look amazing klaus. And five, be more respectful please." I put my hands behind my back.

"But its- fine we'll raid the old man's closet." Five sighed and walked out of the room with klaus and I trailing him. "As long as I get paid." klaus put his hands up. "When the job is done" I said smiling.

"Okay, but just so we're clear on the finer details, I just gotta go into this place and pretend to be you dear old dads, correct." I nodded in approval. "yeah something like that."

"What's our cover story?" Five looked at klaus and I and he was dead serious. "What? What are you talking about?" Five was puzzled. "I mean we might need it you never know." Five looked at me in confusion not knowing what we are talking about.

"I mean, was I really you when i had you? Like 16? Like, young and terribly misguided?" Five turned to walk. "Sure." He said not wanting to hear more. "your mother that slut. Whoever she was. We met at..." suddenly I had a idea. "The disco! And then you guys decided to go on a date to get-" I stated until klaus stopped me.

"Oh my god the sex was amaaazzziinngg." I snorted at klaus' statement. "What a disturbing glimpse into that thing you call a brain." I saw five smirk a little.

"Hey! Be nice he is your brother." Five turned to glance at me then walked away. "Dont make me put you in time-out!"  I chuckled and grabbed klaus to follow five.
