You know those mornings where you're having the best sleep ever and a certain someone just has to barge in on you and turn the lights? Well, today was one of those mornings, and Phil is the cause of my torture.
"Dan, time to get up! Our anime is almost done and I don't fancy waiting till 12 for you!"
"Philllllll, I'm trying to sleep here. Watch something else," I mumble groggily, attempting to sound annoyed, and failing miserably. Truth is, I love our tradition of waking up and having breakfast and anime together.
Especially since I watch with Phil.
"But it's the last episode! C'monnnnn I'll make your breakfast for you even!"
At the offer of food being brought to me, I decide I might as well get up. That perfect sleep is gone anyways.
"I'll take my cereal please."
"Yay! Meet you on the couch, don't start without me!"
I give a faint "mmmk" and start sitting up and groping on the floor for the pants I think I tossed haphazardly on the floor the night before. Phil is lingering in the doorway, smiling at me and trying not to laugh.
"What're you doing Phil? My cereal isn't going to pour itself."
"Watching you grope around like a fool for the pants you are currently wearing," he laughs out.
I glance down, and chuckle. Looks like I didn't toss off my sweats like I thought I did. "Shit, you're right. Thanks Phil, you really are amazing," I say, knowing he'll do that cute little blush and smirk that drives me crazy.
"Yeah, yeah. See you on the couch."
He leaves the doorway, and I hear the sounds of him getting our food ready. I head to the lounge, get our show set up, and wait for Phil before pushing play.
He enters, and I take my bowl and as he sits down, click play.
