It has been a month since Alice and Jasper joined our family. They have settled in very well. They both feel apart of the family. They are now my siblings.
Other the past month after Jasper and Alice settled in they have been helping me practice my powers so I can learn to control them. It is going okay at the moment but I still need improvement. I can finally control over peoples emotions to make them feel something different but it is still hard for me to ignore the feelings around me sometimes it gets to much. However Jasper tells me that it will be better after I have practiced and had experience. I hope so, I don't like it sometimes being able to see there emotions it can be a bit intense when you can't control it.
After Jasper helped me gain control of my power, Alice went on to teach me different techniques that help when she I have a vision. I haven't had a vision since my first one but Alice has been preparing me for the next ones to come if I do have one so that I know how to cope with it and so that I can focus and see what I need to in a vision and control it.
I am so glad that Alice and Jasper have joined the family I don't know what I would have done with out them. I have spent a lot of time with them recently. Jasper seems to have opened up a bit to me about his path life, he doesn't really talk about it to anyone else except for Alice. He tells me that he will tell parts of his past so that I can get an understanding on how he started and coped with the power.
I am still getting my head around the fact that my powers mean I can use over vampires. It makes me wonder what new powers I will come to have over the years. I discovered recently that I can only use my powers when I most need them but I am still able to use my telepathy as that was the first power I got and it's something I share with my brother. Carlisle said that it could be because we are brother and sister but who knows. I guess I will have to see what has to come in the future, I just hope I will have a better control on my powers as I don't want someone to get hurt.
