A change in my life

I felt burning all over my body. It was as if someone had set me on fire. The pain was so excruciating, I thought I would burst into a thousand pieces. The pain continued to grow. I was being burnt alive. Was this the end? Was I in hell? What did I do to deserve this?

Everything was hurting and burning until it came to a stop and everything went cold. I was shaking as it was now freezing, how could I have gone from burning to freezing? I could hear someone saying my name. It sounded so familiar but I couldn't think why.

All of a sudden I shot up and opened my eyes. Everything was strange I was seeing the world differently, my senses where different. It was like I had been reborn. As I tried to get up and see what has happened and where I was, I saw a strange man walking towards me with another man slightly younger. As they came closer I realised it was my brother. Edward? What was he doing here, who was with him?

As if Edward could hear my thoughts he spoke to me saying this is Carlisle don't worry, he is here to help. I was shocked at what they told me next but I knew they were still keeping something from me. Carlisle told me that I had become a vampire. I didn't understand how at first but then I came to except it. I could still tell something wasn't right, by the way they both looked at me. It felt as if they were looking at me like I was an injured puppy. They just kept looking back and forth at me then each other, not saying a word. There was a dead silence.

Then out of nowhere I hear a sound, it sounds like a voice. Where was it coming from? Edward and Carlisle weren't speaking they could have as there lips were closed. As I focused on the sound, I could understand more what it is was saying. The mysterious sound said I could hear said how am I going to tell her that she was born this way. I didn't believe it at first but then I realised something. It must have been talking about me. I broke the silence and shouted what is it it Edward, what do you mean I was born this way, what do you mean by what you just said.

Carlisle and Edward looked at me shocked by my sudden outburst. Then my brother said to me what are you taking about Elisabeth I haven't said a word, how did you know what I was thinking. Just then he looked at Carlisle and he realised what he had just said. Carlisle blurted out she is telepathic? Like you Edward!

What are you talking about I am what? I just stood there shocked at my new ability. Carlisle and Edward explained that when you become a vampire you can get powers but some are rare and it normally doesn't happen a lot. They then went on to explain how I was born a vampire but haven't fully changed till I died let's say. We don't really know how I became a vampire but Carlisle reckons that my mum could have been effected by the vampire venom when I was born so I had some vampire trates in me. However, we reckon I didn't probably develop my vampire self until I came face to face with a life or death situation. So then my vampire self kicked in so no harm would come to me.

The next few hours where very strange we sat and talked about changes. Edward even took me haunting, it isn't that bad actually but I know it is going to take a lot of getting use to. It isn't the best way to get food. After we weren't hunting Carlisle and Edward taught me how to control myself around humans and how to breath and blink in there presents so I looked natural. It was hard at first to except my new way of life but now I quite like living with Carlisle and Edward. We have a nice little family set up, which I hope can stay that way. I love spending time here and I continue to adapt to my new surroundings.
