Chapter 13

The next morning I was awakened by the rays of the sun that shone on my face. Not only the rays of the sun woke me up but also my little sister who was jumping on my stomach the whole time. Fortunately, she is still very young and does not weigh that heavy. "Stand up! Get up," whined my sister and continued to jump on my stomach. "Yes, yes," I mumbled sleepily, I sit up. When I sat up, my sister fell with her back directly on my covered legs. "Are the others still sleeping?" I asked her quietly so that I wouldn't wake anyone. "Yeah, they're all still sleeping and I'm bored," said Sophie, who sat up on my legs. Is that why you have to wake me up so early? But I didn't care because I loved her more than anything.

"Okay, then I'll make breakfast for us first," I informed my little sister and then nudged her briefly on the nose. Then I lifted her in my arms, got up so I could leave my room. I walked quietly with her my little sister through the hallways until I got to the kitchen. I carefully sat Sophie on a chair, then I gave her a cup of milk that I got from the refrigerator. Quietly so as not to wake anyone, I tried pancakes for us My little sister loves pancakes. "(Y/N), are you making pancakes for us?" she asked in a sweet voice. While I was so lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice how I finished putting the whole pancakes on a plate. Well, it doesn't matter now. My sister is definitely very hungry. After I did all of this, I got a cup of coffee for myself and sat down then to Sophie.

We ate our food together and talked about irrelevant stuff. I love to spend time with my little sister and of course with my parents. "When did you come home?" I asked her curiously out of the blue. She just shrugged her shoulder. With her mouth full, she answered me proudly: "I don't know because I've already slept in a room that The homeowners offered me. Even though the music was loud, I could still sleep." I just nodded to show her that you were listening.

"Good morning, you sweeties", Papa greeted us. He kissed Sophie and me briefly on the cheeks. Papa prepared a hot cup of coffee for himself. Papa sat down with us, turned his head to me and hissed angrily through his teeth : "Did this Kaname stay here long? You haven't done anything you shouldn't do, have you?" "No, papa. He left immediately yesterday. But he will come today. I think he will come in the evening because otherwise he has no time." I informed him and also lied to him. I can't tell him that Kaname is a vampire and has to sleep during the day. Man, I don't like it to lie to father, but there is no other way, I don't want him to be scared for me because I fell in love with a vampire and he could bite me.

"Stand up!" she exclaimed happily and jumped on her stomach. Sakura started with a gasp and almost threw Sophie on the floor, which luckily I could stop because I could catch Sophie in time.

Sophie started to cry out of sheer shock, I tried to comfort her, which unfortunately didn't work out very well for me. "It's good,". But she didn't stop crying. "I'm so sorry," Sakura apologized, then kissed Sophie on the cheek. Sophie stopped crying. "I love you," said my sister suddenly. She threw herself into Sakura's arms and of course Sakura caught her immediately.

"Sakura? Do we want to go back into town?" I asked her and took my sister from Sakura's arms. She nodded and we stood up together. "What do we want to do there? "I asked her while we were walking down the stairs. "I thought. I could show you where I used to go to school or where my favorite place is," I informed her happily, because I could show her our city without having to buy anything in the city.

Once in town, we went to my old school where I had no friends. We passed many students who have tutoring during the holiday season and which is offered at school. I grabbed her hand and went with her until I hit a chest. Man, why does this always have to happen to me? I got up from the floor, cursing because I fell on my ass. I heard someone laughing behind me, but it wasn't Sakura. Yep, that's my old and good "friend". What does she want again now?

Someone put a hand in front of my face. Thankfully, of course, I immediately took my hand and the person helped me to my feet. "Thanks", I thank this person and looked up. Whaaaat???? Kaname? What is he doing in my old school? "What are you doing here?" I looked at him confused. "I wanted to see your old school," Kaname explained to me, stroking my head again. Overjoyed, I wrapped my arms around him. "I'm very happy that you will come to me today," I informed him, I lifted my head just to look into his alluring brown eyes.

„I'm sorry to bother you, but you are not alone. You have watchers. I don't mean myself!" she told me, pointing behind Kaname. I took a step to the side. What I saw made me breathe in shock. I saw some girls from my old class looking at Kaname with amorous eyes Which I didn't like by the way. Kaname saw my startled look. He turned around, which made the girls screech and looked at them. I would be very embarrassed if I screamed like that, just because I was a good looking man would see.

Some of them even came to us. They were flirting with him and I didn't like that at all. He is my friend! My jealousy grew in me and to show them that Kaname was already taken, I would kiss Kaname in front of their eyes. With these thoughts I pulled him down to me by his black shirt and kissed him passionately. Now they would know that he belongs to me.

As we parted from our passionate kiss, I saw the jealous looks of the girls. Inwardly, I grinned to myself and stuck my tongue out at them. "Are you going to come to me with us?" I asked while a small smile played around my mouth. He just nodded and together with Sakura we walked home. They changed our plans. I would show her everything next time, if she still wanted that.

When we arrived in front of our house, we rang the bell first because I still didn't have the keys to the house. Surprisingly, my little sister opened the door. She looked at Kaname with wide eyes and immediately ran away to get my parents or because she was scared. After all, she didn't know Kaname and wouldn't every little child be afraid of a stranger? "Come in," I invited Kaname into the house, holding the door open for him. My sister obviously found my parents, because we weren't quite inside, my parents came to us. My mother greeted him with them a hug, but my father looked at him with a forced smile. I knew my father well to see if his smile was real or not. He has to get used to it, after all, Kaname is my past, present and future.

Sakura disappeared quietly and quickly into her room to have her peace from a vampire. Because of me, she accepted Kaname because I love him and she is my best friend. Sophie, my parents, Kaname and I went to the living room together. My parents sat on a brown sofa with two seats. Kaname and I sat across from them on a larger sofa. Sakura didn't want to sit down, she was too shy. My father seemed to notice this, because he lifted Sophia up only to place her on his lap.
