Chapter 2

The picture you drew

Kaname POV

My wife loved the human as much as I did, she couldn't understand why I wanted to wipe out all Vampires. Ultimately, she died because of me because she sacrificed herself for me. But how can she life again? The new girl looked exactly like my wife who died several thousand years ago. I have to protect Yuki and her from Rido no matter what it costs. I would also like to know her name.

"Ehm..T-thanks for your help," she stammered and took her drawings that she lost. In one of her drawings I could see where my wife and I were kissing. A memory of my wife and me as she was still alive. Is the new girl the rebirth of my dead wife?, I thought looking into her eyes and not blinking once. Yuki came running to her and sent her back to her original place and we went to the school, but I continued to look at her till she was out of my sight.

Now I was sitting in the class reading a book, but I couldn't concentrate. I was thinking about Yuki all the time. I love her but only like a sister. I just couldn't forget the girl because she looked like my dead wife and I always loved my mate.

"Who was the clumsy girl? Is she new?" Aido asked his cousin. "It doesn't matter who she is!" Ruka roared angrily at Aido. The window next to me got cracked because I got angry.

Your POV

I stood in a meadow and looked around a bit. I think I'm dreaming right now. "Beautiful isn't it?" Suddenly a voice whispers in my ear. I jumped a meter on the side in shock. Well, it's only the woman who appears in my dreams. "Where are we and what are we doing here?" I asked her. "Let's go a bit and then I'll show you something," said my former "I" and together we went a bit. She told me how she met this man and that she and her husband loved human very much. Now we were standing in front of a couple, a woman was sitting on a white horse and a man was kissing her.

When they were done kissing, I went a little closer to see who they were. When I stood behind the man and looked over his shoulder, I was startled to look into my own face. "You know that was our previous life. I'm just showing you a scene from our previous life. You get all the memories back in time," she explained with a sad voice. I think she misses him very much. To see the man's face, I stand in front of him. I could see everything of him except his face.

I heard a knock. Does it come from my dream? Slowly everything became foggy and I woke up from my dream or rather from a memory.

Knock Knock. First I sat up, got up and then went to the door. Finally I sleepily opened the door. "Here is your uniform. I'll give you a second one so you don't walk around with the same one every day. School starts in half an hour, so you better hurry up.", Yuki explained to me in a hurry and quickly ran away.

The door across the room opened and I saw Sakura leave the room. When she saw me, she greeted me and I also greeted her. When she disappeared into another corner, I went back into the room. In order not to be late for class, I hurried to the bathroom to take a quick shower and change.

I'm late, I'm late, I thought angrily. As quickly as I could, I ran through the hall and opened the classroom door. Shortly afterwards the teacher also entered the class, said that I should stand next to him and then spoke to the class: "As you can see, we have a new student. Her name is (Y/N) (L/N) and please be kind to her and before class starts you can ask a few questions to (Y/N)."

"Hello, I am (Y/N) (L/N) and I am 16 years old. I have been at the Cross Akademie since yesterday and I am pleased to meet you. And anyway, I like to draw." I bowed to the class. A few hands went up. I called the first student and he asked me: "Are you related to someone from the NIght class because you are very beautiful?" "No, not that I know," I answered honestly to his question. Another also asked, "Do you have a boyfriend?" "No," I replied to the question and a few hands dropped down.

The teacher called into the class: "Okay, that's enough! We continue with the lessons! And (Y/N) you sit next to Sakura." As the teacher said, I went to the place where he assigned me. I sat next to Sakura and we both were happy that we are now always sitting together. "Hey (Y/N), I think it's cool that you sit next to me. Now we can talk a lot in class and also become good friends." Sakura whispered to me and I smiled at her with a friendly smile.

When the last lesson ended, all of the students were suddenly gone. That was quick, I thought in surprise. Well, almost all of the students have disappeared, Sakura is still here and waiting for me. Together we went back to the dormitory and said goodbye in front of our doors.

Today was a great day! I found a new friend. The sun had not been seen for a few hours and I was bored, so I drew a picture with the couple on it. With the finished picture, I went to my desk and put my finished drawing on the table. Then I thought about what I could do next. When I couldn't think of anything, I just went out to enjoy the night.

I walked around a bit and suddenly heard a rustle next to me. I slowly turned my head in the direction I made out the sound. To see what it was, I crept closer and saw a rabbit in the bush. The rabbit was caught in a branch and with pity I helped the rabbit, cutting my wrist slightly. The injury burned something, but at least the rabbit was free again.

"Aren't you the clumsy girl?" A voice suddenly asked behind me. I quickly turned around, startled. A young man with ice-blue eyes and blond hair. "I'm (Y/N) and who are you? What are you doing here?" I asked the unknown boy. "I'm Hanabusa Aido and I'm here because I smelled your delicious blood!" Aido replied while his eyes started to glow red. I couldn't move anymore because of fear. He came closer and wrapped his arms around my waist, so I couldn't run away. "Let go of me! What's this? And what are you?" "As I said, smelled your blood and wanted some of it. And no, I won't let you go. To come back to your question what I am, I am a vampire." he explained to me. I couldn't say anything because of the pain, because he bit my throat with his vampire teeth.

I hear his sips and with every sip I get more and more tired.

Will it end here? Will I never find him again? These were my last thoughts until I was dragged into the dark.
