Hello everyone! It's me, Minami Erika, and welcome back to this special 2021 birthday series featuring Pleiades Shower from Pearl Star Academy and Idyllic from Skyline Idol School! Oh wow, I'm the first one from SIS!
Well, if you haven't already known, today is my March 19, my 17th birthday! Wow, that's fast, isn't it? I can't believe that I'll be considered an adult soon. Some people here are already considered adults!
I think I should explain what I'll be doing today. Maybe this is your first time joining in. Maybe you've seen Kosaka Hatsuko-san and Aikyou Yana-chan's birthday specials. Anyway, I'll be talking a bit about myself, then I will spin the wheel of fortune. Whoever gets the most points wins!
Before I begin talking about myself, I just wanna wish you all good health and well-being! The pandemic is still going on... I wonder when it will end. But in the meantime, let's enjoy what we can through social media!
Now, let's begin Erika-chan's introduction!
Hello once again, it's me, Minami Erika! Where am I from? I'm from Nagoya! That's part of the Aichi prefecture. Yeah, it's that place where a lot of car companies are from...
Anyway, my parents and I moved to Tokyo just before I entered primary. I was hoping to study ICT when I was younger. Then, I came across these amazing people also known as idols! One of the very first idols I've heard about was this underrated group called Blooming Night*, but they were from a long time ago. I also heard of the famous Silver Screen Sensation, Himari Ichika, and I have to say, she is an icon! Of course, I heard of Capella as well, and Kosaka Hatsuko-san and Akizora Ayame-san are definitely amazing!
Initially, I didn't want to become an idol. I never felt like I could perform onstage or sing and dance well. So I decided to produce idols instead. To be honest, looking for a place to produce idols at a young age was difficult, because most of the companies and idol schools I saw were about being idols. I tried looking into the prestigious Pearl Star Academy, but I couldn't get myself to actually go there.
Then I came across Skyline Idol School on an idol magazine. And that school, it focused on being idols AND producing idols. So I signed up for the production course. During my first few days at SIS, I didn't really get along with everyone, though I was able to catch up on my lessons. Then one day, I was called by Headmaster Sawabe, and he gave me a very special job. He wanted me to produce his daughter, Sawabe Aika-chan. To be honest, I didn't really think I could do it. Aika-chan didn't speak much at first, but we eventually started to get along. Soon, after watching her, I felt a sensation take over me as if I wanted to do what she was doing. Aika-chan inspired me to try doing Aikatsu as well, even telling me to just do it. So I did, and although I felt like I wasn't so good, I had fun! Thanks to Aika-chan's motivation, I am not only an idol-producer, but also an idol myself!
As an idol-producer, I make sure that I am informed with the latest idol news and information so that I can produce up-to-date idols! Just as I became an idol, I met the Headmaster Sawabe's male group, Strobe Line. And oh my goodness, I was so shocked to learn that their leader was none other than one of the most popular teenage actors, Shibagaki Gin. What shocked me even more was that he was Himari Ichika's son! Sometimes I still can't believe that.
I'm so thankful for Scintilla, my unit with Aika-chan and Yumi-chan, as well as Idyllic, Scintilla and Strobe Line's combined unit. Together, I feel that the seven of us are one SIS family.
Now, let's list the 10 fun facts of Minami Erika-chan!
1) My favourite foods are macarons and potatoes! But I absolutely can't handle spicy food. How does Aika-chan have such a high tolerance to spicy food? She eats spicy food for breakfast and drenches her meals with the spiciest hot sauce!
2) My favourite subject is none other than ICT! Technology is fun, but programming can be a pain...
3) I'm the type of person who loves playing video games! I used to play a lot of Minecraft and Pokemon, but now I find myself playing more gacha rhythm games.
4) The best part of Aikatsu is having fun with your friends and watching yourself grow! And of course, producing idols!
5) In the future, if I had to retire from being an idol, perhaps I'll be a computer engineer or programmer.
6) I'm trying to get into more sports, so I'm trying out tennis!
7) Yumi-chan is actually a wonderful baker! Sometimes, we bake cakes and cookies together! We should hold a Scintilla bake sale someday. I hope Aika-chan doesn't make any spicy cookies though...
8) I'm also trying to learn more about our Pearl Star rivals! Aikyou Yana-chan and Harusame Reyna-chan are usually the ones I talk to.
9) My inspiration to be an idol is obviously Aika-chan. But Yumi-chan, Strobe Line and even our Pleiades Shower friends motivate me to do better!
10) If I had to collaborate with anyone from Pleiades Shower, maybe the Natura members! Or Coconut Ice because I wanna see how Gin-kun's sister, Shibagaki Kiyoko-chan is like with Hidaka Sayako-chan!
I think I've talked a lot about myself. Now I'm gonna spin the wheel! We gamble 1000 flowers, and I'm hoping I don't get anything too bad.
