Aikyou Yana 愛敬 矢那

Everyone, hello! It's me, Aikyou Yana, and I will be your host for today! A month has passed since Hatsuko-senpai's birthday, and now I'm here. That's fast, isn't it? I can't believe I'm already 17, that's one year closer to adulthood.

Anyway, let me sum up this special series for you once again. Pleiades Shower from Pearl Star Academy and Idyllic from Skyline Idol School will be sharing some facts about ourselves. Afterwards, we'll be playing a game of luck. Whoever gets the highest amount of flowers wins!

I hope you're all doing well during this time. This pandemic has been a chaotic one, even for us idols. It's unfortunate that we are unable to meet fans in person at the moment, but thanks to social media and technology, at least there are other ways to reach out and show our support to you all.

Alright, now let's talk about my life!

17 years ago on this day, I was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido. When I was two, my family moved to Tokyo.

As a child, I loved doing arts and crafts! My mom is a painter and graphic designer, so I had a lot of access to different kinds of art supplies and designs. I have to say, my favourite medium for painting is watercolour paint. It gives off this pastel aesthetic feeling, and I love pastel colours. When I was younger, I would usually paint desserts or flowers. To this day, watercolour painting is still one of my hobbies.

Aside from painting, crocheting is another interest of mine. Have you ever heard of amigurumi? That's making stuffed creatures and plushies with yarn. Amigurumi plushies make such adorable gifts! One Christmas, I made plushies for my friends, and they loved them!

I should really start talking about my motivation in becoming an idol, shouldn't I?

I always loved singing and dancing to music videos on the television when I was little. However, it was not until I encountered Capella did I decide on becoming an idol. That time, I was depressed after failing a Japanese test. But as I was going home, two girls appeared on a TV. Akizora Ayame and Kosaka Hatsuko, they were brilliant! The way they danced, sang, and the synchronisation between the two, I forgot about the sadness I was feeling. That was when I chose to become an idol.

After getting accepted to Pearl Star Academy, my father began working for Shirasagi Production Limited. I heard that the president, Shirasagi Isamu, was Headmistress Misaki's previous manager when she was still an idol. That's pretty interesting. My father says that although Shirasagi-san is strict, he is doing it because he cares about the outcome of a performance. No wonder why his daughters, Shirasagi Tsuzumi-chan and Shirasagi Grace-chan are so skilled despite debuting later than me. I wonder what it's like training with Shirasagi-san...

Whoops, l think I've gotten a bit off-track. Anyway, my first friend in Pearl Star is none other than Syurina-chan! It was such an embarrassing first meeting, honestly. I spilt my drink on her, and hoping that she wouldn't get mad at me, I attempted to wipe off the drink on her clothes. And that's how we became friends.

I'm also glad to be friends with Reyna-chan. She's really mature and acts as a mediator between Syuri-chan and me if we get into fights. Though Reyna-chan's been quite busy lately. But if she needs anyone to stick to, she has me, Syuri-chan, and Coconut Ice. And of course, her best friend, Shibagaki Gin-kun, heh heh.

I'm so thankful for Natura, Pleiades Shower, and even Hokkaidols with Sayako-chan! I wish I could be in a shuffle unit with Kiyoko-chan sometime in the future. Or maybe also the SIS girls. I can't decide whether I want to collaborate with Minami Erika-chan or Tan Yumi-chan. Oh, of course, Sawabe Aika-chan is fantastic too.

Alright, time for fun facts with Yana-chan!

1) I love cream puffs! They're my favourite food!

2) Ever since helping out with Princess of Flowers, I have been studying the different properties and features of flowers. Sometimes Reyna-chan helps me out.

3) My favourite subject is Visual Art! Painting is so fun, though it does get tiring sometimes.

4) The best part of being an idol is bringing smiles to people's faces after a long day! So I better keep doing my best!

5) I'm currently trying to learn archery! It's a fun sport that doesn't need too much movement. I'm also trying to learn a bit of piano. I know that Hatsuko-senpai plays the piano. I wish she could teach me!

6) My inspiration for being an idol is Capella, of course. But my friends and fans motivate me to do the best I can.

7) If I were no longer an idol in the future, perhaps I'd be an interior designer or botanist. Though I really want to be an idol for as long as I can!

8) I'm actually quite curious about Shirasagi Production Limited. I hope my dad can help me organise a tour around that company. Only if Shirasagi-san allows that, though.

9) I find that I'm gaining interest in backstage production. Just seeing how everything builds up together to help an idol produce an amazing stage excites me.

10) I'm quite similar to Erika-chan. We both like to tie our hair up in twin tails and our blood type is O. Moreover, I'm curious about idol production these days, which is Erika-chan's speciality.

I think I've talked enough about myself. Time to move on to the game! In this game, we are given 1000 virtual flowers and spin the wheel to see how many flowers we end up getting in the end.

Alright, let's go!

1.5 1.7 2.4
0.2 ➡️ 1.2
0.1 0.3 0.5

You won 1200 🌸

Yay! I got 1200 flowers. Though that's lower than Hatsuko-senpai, I'm glad I gained a profit!

Here's the current leaderboard in the game of luck:

1. Kosaka Hatsuko (1700)

2. Aikyou Yana (1200)

Awww, looks like the programme is nearing its end. I had so much fun, and I hope you did too. Next up is Minami Erika-chan on March 19th. Please look forward to her episode! She's the first out of the SIS batch!

Thank you for joining me today! Everyone, take care of yourselves, okay? You are loved and you matter. Do your best in everything you do, and of course, take a break after working!

Thanks once again! See you again soon!
