Hello people. Welcome to the Pleiades-Idyllic 2021 birthday series. Today it is my turn to be a special guest. Please stick around and not leave midway.

I'm the eighth one here, so you should be used to the rundown if you've been watching the others before me. Just like everyone else, I have to talk about my life, mention ten facts and gamble.

I don't wanna make this introduction too long, so let's begin.

My name is Sawabe Aika, the leader of Scintilla and a member of Idyllic. I'm a student from Skyline Idol School and my father, Sawabe Katsu, is the headmaster of my school.

Now how do I talk about my life to you people without triggering some unfortunate flashbacks?

Anyway, SIS was my mother's idea. Unfortunately, stuff happened to her and she did not live very long. So my father took over and continued developing SIS into what it is now. When I was old enough, I enrolled myself to SIS, hoping that my father would recognise me as a great idol. Plus my mother would have been proud.

Before becoming a student of SIS, I trained to become an idol by myself. Usually, I would have singing and dancing lessons after school and my father did fund me for them. In order to give a good first performance, I decided to debut with a Bloom Coord. It was my father and Himari Ichika's idea to develop the Bloom System, so naturally I was aware of it. If I were to get the first Bloom Coord on my first stage, I'd be seen as an outstanding idol.

Initially, I came to SIS to gain recognition. However, I learned that there are other things aside from recognition that are more valuable. I met some good friends like Erika and Yumi who really liked to stick to me. And I was able to get along with the Strobe Line guys as well. Even though I'm not the type to socialise, strangely it felt nice being with them. I also got to come across our rivals, the Pearl Star Academy students. My time as an idol has given me more opportunities to learn more about different people and probably be nicer to them.

I think I said enough. Here are 10 facts about me:

1) The best thing about Aikatsu is that people will see how amazing I can be. I can sing and dance and people will be enthralled.

2) Aside from the usual idol activities, I also specialise in fencing. I've trained in all three sections — foil, epee and sabre, but I mostly focus on sabre. I also did karate and archery at some point.

3) I was born in Chiba when my parents were staying with my dad's parents. Yeah, Headmaster Dad is from Chiba and my mother was from Kobe.

4) Who inspired me to be an idol? Probably my parents because they always talked about their idol project. Aikatsu this, Aikatsu that. Heck even I was named after Aikatsu. And for some reason, my father's name is Katsu...

5) If I were no longer an idol, I'd probably work in SIS as a teacher or takeover as headmistress because I have every right to do so. Or I'd be a fencing coach. Or I'd work for a hot sauce company.

6) My best school subject is PE. Then again, I am a fencer. I need to have a lot of physical energy and stamina.

7) My favourite food is anything spicy. Preferably anything with Tabasco Scorpion Pepper Sauce. And no, I'm not sponsored by them.

8) Okay so this is probably gonna sound really weird but like I bet Kosuke is gonna say this in his episode so I should say it too. We're cousins, no joke. His dad is my mother's younger brother. I only figured out when Yumi's mother was like, "Hey you look like Atsumi Amaya," and then Kosuke responded, "Oh that's my aunt!"

9) Because I'm Scintilla's leader, sometimes I have to help out with Idyllic stuff when Gin's not around. Yeah, Kageki and I have to help with sorting stuff out. Erika does too, being the producer of the group.

10) If I could work with any Pleiades girl, perhaps I'd go with Kosaka Hatsuko or Harusame Reyna. People have told me that Kosaka and I have similar-sounding voices. And well, I'd go with Reyna because I performed with her before.

Okay, that was 10 facts. Now it's time to gamble some flowers. Here we gamble 100 flowers and spin a wheel. We're trying to get the most flowers.

Haha, I'm leading right now with Kosaka Hatsuko. Hmmm, why am I always with Kosaka? There's a chance someone else will surpass me though, but let me just celebrate this moment of victory. Actually, forget what I said, that's not a very fun thing to celebrate.
