Chapter 5

       ⚠️ Attention foul language and torture! ⚠️

  3rd POV

       In the basement, Jace's limp body was hanging on the wall, as the man carved words into his pale white skin, as the boy looked at him, eyes emotionless, slight whimpers and screams escaping when he couldn't bear the pain. He decides to give up and stop hanging to life little by little as the man broke every part of him until he heard the door open with a squeak. Hope-filled his eyes but suddenly pain erupted right over his heart, and he screamed at the top of his lungs, tears streaming down his face as his so-called father played with on his skin with a hot iron, laughing at every sound that came from his mouth.

  Spidey POV

       Small whimpers were detected by my hearing and I raised my eyebrow, turning to my mentor with fear and confusion.
  "Mister Stark?"
  "Yeah, kid?"
  "Someone's in pain."
      He turned, facing me with his iron mask.
  "What do you mean?" He asked in confusion.
  "I can..." I said as I was interrupted by a blood curling scream.
      We looked at each other and ran down the stairs until we reached the end.
      My stomach churned at what I saw.
      A boy with a t-shirt ripped in pieces a d soaked with blood, his hair messy and full of dirt and his eyes held no emotion except fear and anger as the man tortured him with no mercy.
      The boy heard us and raised his head and as he saw us, hope-filled his purple eyes. What shocked me was the scars on his body. I looked at Tony and decided to act. I walked to the man and stopped his hand before it could strike again the boy's now purple skin.
  "What do you think you're doing?"
      The man trembled in fear... or that's what I thought, as he started laughing, as he looked at the boy.
  "Look! Someone actually came to save a trash like you!
      Tony groaned in anger from the shadows, as the man turned to me with a sickening grin.
