"I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do
About you now.
Backbeat,
The word on the street
Is the fire in your heart
is out."

Sorry for the cliffhanger, by the way ;)

Julie's POV:

"Where am I?" I repeated angrily. "TELL ME!"

He didn't even move. Just laughed.

"HELP ME! PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP!" I screamed as loud as I could... But I knew nobody was going to save me.

"Shut up." He growled, and I backed down.

I closed my eyes, my head pounding. I tried thinking of something that made me happy. Anything to distract me.

Somehow, my mind thought of Luke.

Memories started playing in my head. When we first met at age four, to when we first went to the beach together. Then I started thinking of the time he held me, and listened to me cry for an hour. The moment we grew apart started ripping apart old wounds. Moments of fear, anxiety, and depression started to make tears sting my eyes.

"You ruined everything for me." I whispered quietly. "You wrecked any happiness I had left. I had trust issues because of you. If anyone tried to get close, I'd push them away. How are you even here, anyways?" My voice grew louder with every word. "You killed yourself! I saw you, dead. You were pronounced dead! What the hell?!" Tears poured out of my eyes.

"I SAID SHUT UP!" His voice boomed, and the chair he was sitting in fell to the ground.

I quivered in the bed, terrified. I wouldn't be able to stop shaking no matter how hard I tried.

"Where's Luke?" I said quietly.

Then, with a bone chilling smile, he said:

"Dead."
