Chapter 23

Kai's POV

"How's my baby boy?" I looked at him.

"Aug." I uttered.

"One and only."

"Why are you here? I thought you'll be out of the country."

"Bored I guess. Maybe, I'll postpone studying again." August smiled at me.
"Now, can I eat with you? I am planning to visit Cole. Luckily found you here. Are you his bodyguard now?"

"Well, I am."

"Should I congratulate you or is it better to say good luck?" He teased.

"You can say both, Aug."

"Cute as always. How're your girls?" August teased. He knows about a lot of girls messaging me that's why I keep getting involved in fights before.

"No more girls." Cole is monitoring my phone and all my social media 24/7. How can I have girls? "How's April?"

"Didn't say yes to me yet but almost there." They are named after their birth month which is cute. It is destiny that they meet each other I guess.

"Cole knows about you visiting him?"

"Not yet. I don't know if this is a good day to visit him. I am staying near here, at Cole hotel to be exact."

"Is the place nice? Haven't stepped a foot there, after how many years."

"Wanna come with me? It is actually walking distance from here." August is finally talking to me like his real friend. I remember how much he ignores me before.

If Cole is the richest teen before, August was in the 8th spot. I am not sure if what is his rank for bachelor's list now. I just know that Cole is still the first.

We are busy talking when Ray came. He was panting. "C-cole, s-sir Cole... Mad...so mad...searching for you."

I stuffed the remaining sandwich in my mouth, swallowed it then down the soda. "You want to come? You want to meet Cole, right?" I am talking with my mouth full.

"I'll follow later, I'll get something in my room first after eating." He wiped the corner of my lips. "Slow down, Cole is not going to kill you."

"Thanks, Aug."

I am walking fast to his office. What's wrong with him again?

"Is the girl visitor still there?"

"Yup." Ray is still catching his breath.

I am going to kill him if he dares scolds me in front of that girl.

I twist the doorknob and met his angry gaze.

"Why, sir?"

"You keep calling me sir since the morning. What is really your problem? Is it very hard to tell me where you are going?"

I heard the girl cleared the throat from the couch.

"I told Mr. Kim that I'll just take breakfast."

"Is he your boyfriend?" I glanced at my side. "I am asking you if that Kim is your boyfriend." Cole is being unreasonable again.

"I think you both need to talk first. I'll come back later." That girl Aimie said.

"No. Finish that." My boyfriend ordered her.

He really wants that girl here.

"Answer. Is Kim your boyfriend? Why do you need permission from him?"
