Chapter 42

Cole's POV

"I told you, I don't want to see you crying. Stop it now or I am not going to allow you again."

"BABE!!!" He screamed out of joy. " I LOVE YOU." He hugged me tightly. Did he forget that I am injured? Who cares about the wound though? I am happy when I see him like this.

His happiness is mine too. It's been so long since I witnessed this sincere smile again.

"Are you that happy?"

"So much. I need to call Cirrus first. For a moment." He rings his dad's number excitedly.

"Cir, did you hear the news about a great Elite being asked to return to the team? Of course, it is me, dad. Sir Gulf told me to return at service. Relay this to mom. Should I go there now? Bye."

"What did he say?" I asked Kai.

"He just scolded me but I know he is pleased with the news too."
Kai can't stop smiling and I love seeing him like this.

He faced me again and showered me with his wet kisses. "Don't lose that smile again, okay?"

He nodded and gave more kisses.

He went out of the room and I heard him sobbing.

"Hey, I told you I don't like seeing you cry."

"I can't contain my happiness. Sorry. I thought I'll be okay being out of Elite but I guess this is really a part of me. Thank you for making me feel complete again."

"Anything for you Kai. Anything for my baby." I promise to not let Kai be sad again.

I have a plan in my mind. It keeps running to my head since I realized that I like Kai.

Kai's POV

I was awakened by a loud alarm on my phone. I didn't remember setting this up. I got up without Cole on my side.

When I turn my phone off, I saw a card placed on top of our bedside table.

"Turn on the TV, babe." It's too early to watch a movie. I just obeyed my master's demand.

Suddenly a video shows up.

"Hi babe, I recorded this because I can't sing in front of you live. I don't really sing but for you, I'll try."

What is this? Damn it. Why does he need to sing for me?
