Chapter 14

Kai's POV

"Sir, I didn't do anything. He is lying." Brian is making it worse.

Cole grabbed his neck again. "Do you think I am lying too? I have read every single message you sent to him."

"Babe, stop it, you might kill him." He is strangling him. This is not what I meant when I said I want to get back at him.

Just in time when sir Tharn entered the mansion.

"What's the commotion?" He asked. Cole didn't flinch. When sir Tharn saw what Cole is doing he just walk past us like nothing is happening.
"Cole, once you're done there meet me in the study room." He just let my boyfriend do what he is doing. Damn it.

"Babe, that's enough already." I hugged him from behind. "That's enough, I am okay now."

"I don't want to see you here." He warned Brian.

I think I underestimated Cole. I thought he will just scare him but he did hurt him.

I pulled Cole away. I should have just endured Brian's nonsense words.

"You drink water first before you meet Sir Tharn." I pulled him to the kitchen. "That's too much, babe." He didn't answer.

"I'll meet dada first. Until what time is your shift today?"

"Until 6."

"Let's have dinner later. Don't worry about that guard. I'll make sure he can never annoy you again."

"Babe, sorry about yesterday. Happy monthsary." I hugged him.

"Happy first month. I love you so much. Just don't mention about breaking up anymore and I'm good."

I walked back to the garden. I saw my dad staring at me. His eyes were like saying 'I told you about Cole but you didn't listen.'

To be honest, Cole's temper still scares me. I know how hot-headed he is but this is the first time I saw him physically hurt someone because of me.

We will be having dinner later. I don't even have a gift for Cole for our first month together. I still have work until 6 and we will go out for a dinner date straight after my shift. I have no time to buy anything for him.

I always take from Cole but I have never given anything. This sucks! I should have prepared a gift weeks ago.

"Babe, I need to go with dada first." I heard him talk close to my ears. How long has he been standing there?

"You won't bring me?" He ruffled my hair like a kid.

"Do you want to?" He asked me. Just this morning he was so mad now he acts as if nothing happened.

"No, I am tired today but who are you bringing?"

"Just Kim, babe. What do you want me to buy for you?"

"Cinnam....."

"Not that cinnamon bun again. I am going to the toy museum, babe. There's no bakery shop near there."

"Then you shouldn't have asked me. Just go home before my shift ends so we can eat right away." He cupped my cheeks.

"Yes, boss."

Cole's POV

I went to my soon to open toy museum. It's a good thing that my parents never forced me to handle our business and allowed me to open my museum. They told me to do what I love, so here it is.

Our family owns a lot of businesses. We have a lot, I am not even aware of some.

Hotel and restaurant chains, real estate, car manufacturing, petroleum, malls, golf clubs, tutorial schools, and many more. I am not even interested.
