They hid in plain sight, trying to avoid the day light.
Their secrets holding them together.
The wind pushing against their faces as they ran along the dark frightening empty streets.
A pact was made, between friends.
No not friends, family.
They weren't regular kids.
Because everyday kids did every day things but they couldn't be one of them.
They could be what they wanted, when they wanted but no one knew.
It was their secret.
And as they screamed at the top of mountains running free, they realized the power they had.
No one else saw it because they couldn't understand.
Small smiles crept upon their faces as the full moon was shining in the sky.
What would they be tonight?
Heroes. They could be heroes.
