Nightmare Attack

It's been a year since I married Oisann and it's been the best time of our lives. We don't have any kids yet but we're hoping we'll have one soon.

"Hey Leah, what do you think we would do if we hadn't met?" Oisann asked.

"I'd say things would be very different. We wouldn't even have the thought of seeing someone like us being together." I answered.

Oh and also I found out that my real name is Leah.

"Hehe, I'm glad I married you." Oisann said.

"Me too." I replied.

Just then Luce, Gracie, and Belle ran into the room.

"Luce, what's wrong?!" Oisann asked.

"Shadow monsters are attacking the city!" Luce answered.

"And Veronica's leading them!" Belle added.

"What?!"

"We have to get out of here! Come on guys!" Oisann led everyone out through the back window.

We moved as fast as we could but I was starting to feel tired. I can't run like everyone else so I have to rest my legs every now and then.

"Guys wait up!"

"Guys, hold up. Afton needs to rest." Oisann said.

"Sorry, Afton. We're trying to get us out of here as fast as we can." Luce said.

"Can you try to run a little longer?" Belle asked.

"I can try." I answered.

We ran as fast as we could, for like five more miles we ran. But we needed to rest we at the edge of town and we couldn't believe what we saw. The whole town was in flames with monsters attacking innocent people.

We couldn't do anything to stop them. We hid in an old log cabin in the woods, but we needed to get as far away from those monsters as soon as possible.
