How to Move On

It's been about a week since Luce and Oisann found out that I was pregnant, but to be completely honest, I didn't even notice it till the next week! How? I do not know, but it was crazy for me. And I knew I had to tell Oisann sooner or later. I suggested sooner, because I could get really hurt and the baby could still be alive inside of me and no one would know.

So you can guess what I did. I just walked up to Oisann and told him that we needed to talk in private.

"So what's going on babe? You sensing the shadow monsters getting closer or something?" Oisann asked.

"N-no, it's not that." I answered.

"Then what is it?"

"Oisann, I'm pregnant. I don't know what to do." I answered.

"Okay just calm down, we can handle this. We just need to be careful."

"Oisann, did Luce ever say how long till we get to that village in the mountains?" I asked.

"*sigh* He said that it would take about seven months to get there. I know that it would be risky moving on with you being pregnant but I'm here for you, and so is everyone else."

"Thanks Oisann." I said as he hugged me.

We moved on for quite an amount of time after that. I could still hear the shadow monsters coming closer and we needed to keep moving. Then we came across a village that the shadow monsters already destroyed.

"What happened here?" Belle asked.

"Looks like the shadow monsters were here before us." I answered.

"I guess so." Luce replied.

We looked around and actually found a little pup, it was stuck under some debris, but it also had a broken leg and was blind in one eye.

"A puppy?" Luce said.

"But what is it doing here?" Belle asked.

Then I noticed the dead bodies in the distance. It was horrifying.

"You okay Leah?" Oisann asked.

I then moved his head facing the dead bodies. We both couldn't believe what we saw.

"That pup must've been in its home and then the shadows came here and destroyed the village." Luce said.

I used my powers and carefully set the little pup free. I then made a splint from what I had in my bag, and used it to help the poor pup.

"How did you know to do that Afton? I thought you didn't remember anything." Belle said.

"I remembered a few important things. Like how to help someone who is injured and you don't have any medical supplies." I answered.

"Heh, well that's gonna be useful in the future, but we better get moving." Luce said.

"We're bringing the pup with us." I said.

"Why?" Belle asked.

"Hehe, you need to understand that when Le- I mean Afton sees an adorable creature hurt we're bringing it with us." Oisann said.

"It's a she Oisann." I said.

"What is?" he asked.

"The puppy." I answered.

"O-okay? Look I don't care about the stupid dog right now! We need to get to that village in the mountains and as soon as possible!" Luce yelled.

"Luce are you okay?" Oisann asked. Oisann noticed that Luce's eyes turned from blue to red.

"I'm fine." Luce answered.

"Luce are you sure?" Belle asked.

"I said I'm fine!" Luce then attacked Belle as his hands turned to claws. Somehow the shadow monsters got into Luce's head and turned him into a monster himself.
