Chapter 44

I think cuddling is mine and Trevor's favourite thing to do, cause we're lazy little shits and don't like doing anything else unless we have to. Mackenzie bursts through my bedroom door with tears running down her face. My heart drops at the sight of her.Trevor and I sit up as she comes running towards us.

"Mackenzie, what's wrong?" I ask. She climbs onto Trevor's lap and snuggles her into his chest.

"Scwary boys with daddy," she answers.

I run out of my room and down the stairs to see Joey sitting on the couch with two boys, like Mackenzie said, but their backs are facing me so I can't see their faces.

"Dad?" The two boys turn to look at me. Hayes and Taylor.

"Lowri, what are you doing down here?" Joey asks.

"Mackenzie told me you were talking to two boys, she seemed really scared," I answer.

"Is she okay?"

"Yeah she's fine, Trevor is with her," Joey gets up and walks up the stairs. Probably to see if Mackenzie's okay. Taylor gets up and walks over to me.

"Hey Lowri," he says as he pulls me into a hug. I hesitantly hug back. I'm still scared of him a little bit, but at the end of the day, I'm back in LA because of him so I've kind of forgiven him. But not Hayes.

"Hey Taylor, have you been okay?" I ask him. We pull away from the hug.

"Yeah, but I miss you," he answers.

"Really?"

"I know it may not seem like it, but I do, you made me a better person," he stops and takes my arm in his hand and rolls up my sleeve to see my cuts. "I see you've stopped cutting."

"I haven't had a reason to cut. I only started again after 5 years of being clean because of what you guys did to me, it sent me back to how I felt when I was 9 to 12 years old," I state. Hayes gets up and walks over.

"So Lowri, how have you been?" he asks.

"Without you bothering me? Absolutely amazing. Without you being around, I didn't have to worry about being kidnapped, raped or abused, I was happy. But now that you're back, you're probably going to start doing it again, aren't you?"

"No, I'm not," I'm shocked, THE Hayes Grier, is going to leave me alone after 3 years of bothering?

"I'm sorry what?" I ask.

"I've realised that what I did to you was wrong, I pushed you too far that you started harming yourself again. I never wanted to make you feel so bad that you had to hurt yourself to get rid of the pain, I was just so jealous that you had people to love you and that looked out for you while I have no one. My mother loves Nash more than me because he's 'famous' now. But that shouldn't matter, you should love your all of your children the same no matter what. I really am sorry for what I did to you Lowri, can you forgive me?" he asks.

"I'm sorry Hayes, but I don't think I can. At least not yet, you caused me so much pain, it's going to take awhile for me to forgive you," I answer.

"I was expecting that, I knew you wouldn't forgive me right away, that stuff only happens in fairy tales," he chuckles at the end. "Well we should be going."

"Okay bye Hayes, bye Taylor,"

"Bye," and with that, they left.

Trevor comes down the stairs with a worried look on his face. "Is everything okay?" he asks.

"Hayes apologized," I answer. His eyes widen.

"Really? Did you forgive him?" he asks.

"No, I said that because he caused me lot of pain I wasn't going to forgive him yet," I answer.

"You're going to forgive him?"

"Yeah,"

"Why? After everything he's done to you?!" Trevor exclaims.

"Because I don't like to live in the past, I like to move forward!" I yell back. His eyes soften.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell," he says as he hugs me. I hug back.

"It's fine," I say.
