Y/n's POV:
"Relax I've got you" his deep Australian accent spoke...
That's all that I heard before a hand was placed onto my mouth preventing me from screaming. But I didn't want to scream because instead of scary thoughts filling my head it was past memories that were doing so. Thoughts that years of therapy made me forget, now were coming back to me. I was in a similar situation where bullets were showering around me. All I could think of was the time when my parent's were killed with these exact weapons.
Unknowingly I started crying while clutching onto my jacket that I was wearing. My tears dropped out of my eyes and rolled down onto the hand of the stranger. As soon as he felt tears on my face he stopped shooting and brought us deeper into the alleyway to make sure we weren't seen. "Hey, hey why are you crying?" he gently cooed while in desperate attempt to calm me down. "It's just- just really scary" I said crying even more now. "Look babes don't be scared of me. I'm not trying to hurt you and I'm going to make sure you don't get hurt" he said in a soothing way. I just looked up at him with my teary eyes. His gaze softened more as he pulled me into a hug. It was comforting more comforting than any hug I have ever had.
The sounds of guns quietened until I saw that I was still in the hold of that guy. I slowly pulled away as he did the same. "I- Um- Thank you for pulling me into the alleyway" I quietly spoke. The guy just chuckled as he looked back at me. "Your welcome sweetheart by the way don't leave your house after 7, a lot of people know this and it's that there are a lot of mafia gangs in Seoul so it's not safe for you to be out here alone" he said before smiling. His dimples poking out. He was adorab- wait what I've only known him for 30 minutes. "So are you sure you can go home by yourself?" he said. "Yeah I live close by anyways" I replied.
He just nodded before checking if the road was safe for me to go home. I just smiled at him, catching a glimpse of his eyes. His dark brown orbs looked at me while we both began walking the opposite direction. He bit his lip before turning around and running off to a black van which then drove off into darkness. My heart thumped loud enough for someone to hear while I made it home. I quickly fumbled with my keys to open the door as I was greeted by the darkness of the house. I guess Aunt still wasn't home. I walked into the kitchen to again be greeted by nothing to eat. Until I saw some left overs from a couple of nights ago. I guess this will have to do for now...
??? POV:
"So we have roughly the same amount of men dead as the other gang- Yoongi!" Seokjin said. "Yes hyung I can hear you just continue" I sighed. Running a gang wasn't easy especially when I was going up against SKZ. Did they really think they could get away with stealing our weapons from our storage departments? Although I said I was listening, I wasn't. The only thing occupying my mind was the girl that the leader was holding against the wall. Even during a massive gang war I could see him and that girl. The only question was who was that? His girlfriend? Best friend? Sister? Some random stranger? Why was he holding her that close? I smiled as memories of me and the leader of the apposing gang flood my head. Me and him were best friends. Inseparable for that matter.
Flashback
Yoongi/Suga POV:
"Hyung! Hyung! Happy birthday hyung!" Chan came running up to me as he squeezed me into a bone crushing hug. "Thank you Channie!" I said back. "We will be friends forever and ever right?" he said excited as he was eating his slice of cake. "Of course Channie your dumpling hyung will never leave you" I said and smiled back to him.
Reader POV:
Although both Chan and Yoongi were inseparable, they had no idea what type of life they were in for. Both of their dad's were leaders of each other's rival mafia gangs which were ready to kill each other on sight however this fact was completely in the dark from the 2 once innocent boys. Sooner enough this war had to end once and for all no matter how bloody or painful it got. The greediness of both fathers soon increase in which they both started brainwashing their sons into thinking the absolute worse within each other.
"Dad I don't want to do this!" Yoongi yelled angry. The boy was only 15 and he didn't want to learn how to take lives for a living. "Listen Son...You have to. The Bangs are ready to wipe out our family which includes that best friend of yours...Bang Chan. He'll get me and your mother killed and will you sit here and watch helplessly or will you take revenge?" his father said manipulating. Yoongi's eyes grew dark in anger.
"Is learning how to use a gun really going to be necessary to me in life?" Chan asked confused. He again was forced into learning how to take over once his dad was gone. "You don't have to Chan. However what are you going to do once your so called best friend Yoongi gets us all eliminated from the mafia world?" he said. Chan grew more furious after hearing this.
Since then both boys grew apart, going from brothers to enemies. None dared them to look at each other. Their other friend by the name of Kai listened to all that was being told to the other boys by their fathers. He sighed deeply as he knew what was going on. He knew what their dads were trying to do to them. If only if they knew...
Present
A sad tear rolled out of Yoongi's eyes as he remembered all the great memories that we exactly that...memories. He was quick to wipe it away before his gang members noticed. He cleared his throat before speaking. "Get me intel on that girl that the other leader had cornered in the alleyway. She seems useful to us" he said before leaning his head against the window. Watching everything go by. If only is they both knew.
If only if they both knew...
