chapter 3

we reach the house surprising quick. it was about a 10 minute drive. the ride here was interesting, james head was out of window screaming his lungs out singing last friday night by katy perry. i love there energy it's definitely not my type of crowd. i really like them i hope i spend more time with them trying to get to know them.

we get out of the car and see that the house is bursting with loud music and colored lights in all different directions shooting into the sky. the house was massive. it was about three stories from what i could tell.

we reach the door step and bryce just opens the door. as soon as i entered the huge house i instantly smell alcohol. i look around and see red sole cups everywhere. people dancing all over each other in the living room. people making out in every corner. people picking up things and breaking them. i was shocked by all of this. holy.

"hey, come on" bella says breaking me out of my thoughts. i look at her and see she's already ahead of me along with james, blair and bryce. she was waving at me telling to follow them.

i follow them trying to squeeze through the tight crowd and we sit on a couch.

"where's ethan?" blair says.

"probably fucking a girl upstairs" bryce says laughing.

blair rolls her eyes. does she have something for him? i don't know. not my problem anyways.

"i'm gonna go get us some drinks" bryce says as he gets up and disappears into what i'm assuming is the kitchen. blair and bella are having there own conversation.

"so, kayla see any guys that interest you here" james says

"it's only my first day. and i didn't have time to look at all the guys" i saying letting out a light laugh. he smiles back.

"what do you major in" he speaks up again.

"psychology"

"psychology? wow" he says almost like he it caught him off guard.

"why". he says further.

"i don't know, i guess i just like learning about the way people think and there behavior and why they do what they do" i say. he smiles again.

"what about you? what are you majoring in" i ask politely.

"business, accounting and finance"

"wow, didn't think you were the math type" i say smiling.

"everyone's full of surprises" he smiles back.

we got interrupted by bryce trying to hold 5 drinks
in his hand.

"there you guys go" he says giving it out starting with bella.

"oh no, thank you but i don't drink" i say politely as he hands out a bottle of beer for me.

"she doesn't drink" bryce says looking at me like i'm not normal. "what a surprise" he says sarcastically he lets out a laughter.

"everyone's full of surprises" i quote james words letting out a small laugh.

we all talked a bit more for a while.

"hey do you guys know the the bathroom is" i ask everyone.

"there's a bunch of bathrooms in the house but the ones on this floor i'm pretty sure people that are fucking. so just use the upstairs. as soon as you reach the top just keeping going straight and take a first right" bella says.
