It was the day those who had left the school for the Christmas holidays were returning, and Celine hated to admit that she'd miss her and Tom's routine. Of course, Tom would still never let her out of his sight - especially after their kiss, however it wouldn't be the same.

"Celine!" Edward Lestrange greeted his cousin enthusiastically, giving her a smile as he approached the white haired girl.

"Hello dearest cousin, what has got you so happy?" She returned the smile, as they walked across the courtyard and found a bench to sit down on.

"Haven't you heard the news?" He looked at her with confusion.

"No ones owled me since December 17th Edward." Celine told him, an edge of saddness in the statement.

"Oh, I'm sorry Celine. I thought you'd know..." Lestrange said, looking at his cousin with sympathy.

"It's truly fine Edward! Now tell me this grand news before I go find your sister and beg her for it instead!" She teasingly threatened him, and chuckled as he reacted to the mention of his sister - the Lestrange sibling rivalry was very serious, and Edward would not allow his cousin to betray him in such a way.

"Well I can't have you running to Evelyn can I?" He gave her a smirk, and she looked at him eagerly.

"So the news is?" She looked at Edward with interest and excitement.

"Your sister is getting married to Orion!" He said, grinning at her, and Celine clapped her hands in joy.

"I heard she was seeing this Italian noble family over Christmas and I thought it was dreadful for her to be married to someone she didn't know! But she loves Orion! Oh how lovely!" Celine beamed at her cousin, and hugged him with excitement.

"Do I not get a thank you?" He teased, only to be hugged tighter by the girl, before she abruptly pulled back, and began running to the Owlry .

"Thank you a million times Edward! I must send a quick letter to Adrienne! I've always wanted to be a bridesmaid!" Celine shouted, as she ran past groups of staring students, who were smiling at the joyful girl as she bolted towards the Owlry.

"Heard our dearest Orion here is betrothed to a certain Rosier - your Adrienne, is that correct Celine?" Abraxas asked, as the boys sat with her at dinner, as they had been doing since September. Celine noticed Tom stiffen at the mention of a Rosier marriage, but relaxed again at her sister's name. Celine smiled to herself at his behaviour.

"You are indeed correct Abraxas, and if I hear that you treat my sister poorly Orion, I shall not hesitate to practice my newest blood curse on you." Celine smirked at him, and his eyes widened.

"Celine wouldn't hurt you Orion - it's just words. I remember her crying when she accidentally killed a ladybird." Edward chimed in, making Celine blush at the revelation.

"But that was when you were younger wasn't it Celine? Now she could curse us all." Abraxas said, but Edward smirked.

"No she cried over the ladybird last summer." Lestrange said, and his smirk grew as Celine's embassment and blush grew stronger.

"At least you know I'd never hurt any of you!" Celine pointed out, and the boys nodded in agreement. If she wasn't such a good natured and kind soul, Celine could use her powers to hurt anyone of them - except Tom of course.

"How is a good girl like Celine Rosier, aquatinted with such devious monsters such as us young men?" Lawrence Nott asked, and the boys all grinned.

"If I remember correctly, four months ago, I was cornered in a carriage, interrogated, and then trapped at the feast that very same night by all seven of you." Celine laughed at the memory.

They had forced their friendships on her, however she enjoyed all the boys' company, and it was always nice to talk to people who understood pressures from her pureblood and aristocratic life too.
It was always nice when one of the boys had a girlfriend too, and it meant Celine ha s began to have more female friends, even after one of the boys broke the poor girl's heart.

"Now you're being dramatic Rosier." Henry Parkinson teased.

"I do recall saying Hell would be nicer than sitting with Abraxas Malfoy." Celine pointed out, and Abraxas pretended to be hurt, making the group laugh lightly.

"But it does seem I may have gown fond of you all." Celine said with a smile, and every single boy returned it.
She was angelic and heavenly, it was like they couldn't return the smile, because she was so compelling with her innocence and charisma.

Every boy returned the smile, except for Tom.

But, Celine swore she could've seen a small tug at his lips, before the cold front and emotionless expression washed over his face again, and the conversation turned back to Tom, and his followers began discussing plans, and Celine had tuned out reading her novel, unaware and not picking up on what was happening around her.

So sweet, so innocent.

Celine was so naive.

But his little angel never knew of his true darkness, and she never saw him as the devil.

His little piece of heaven only ever saw him as another angel, and never saw that it was his mask, until she was too late.
