(Y/n POV)

"What took you so long to get back?" Harry asked as I sat down next to him. "Yea where were you?" George and Lee asked from across from us, "I ran into Snape, big git if you ask me." I said causing Harry to give me high five.

A few students started leaving for classes which made the trio leave. "I should get going to class." I said getting up, "I'll meet you there." George said with a mouth full of toast.

Angelina gagged and Lee chuckled.

I was walking to Transfiguration class when I was stopped by Cedric. "Hey Ced."

"Hey Y/n."

"You need something?"

"No just I heard about you and Fred."

"Oh that."

"Yea, but it's alright it's not as bad as you think I've been friend zoned too."

"Wow your so much help."

He gave me a puzzled look put an arm around me, starting to walk with me. "first class?" He asked. "Transfiguration." I replied. He nodded, "care if I sit with you?" He asked. "Not at all." I replied, He smiled at me and kept walking.

Once we walked in we saw Fred and Hannah sitting at the same front table, "Ignore them." Cedric told me. I nodded and went over to sit with him. "If it makes you feel any better, I bet your father is gonna hear about this." He said causing me to smile, "Godrics you sound like Malfoy." replied. "Hey I'm only trying to help no need to insult me." He said putting a hand on his chest.

"Black and Diggory please stop talking." Professor McGonagall warned. We stopped talking and started our work.

"Weasley's looking." He whispered to me. I turned my head to see Fred looking at me and Cedric, I smiled at him. He smiled back before Hannah asked him for help.

I turned my head back to see Smirking Cedric, "What?" I asked. "Nothing, it's a start." He replied. "A start for what?" I asked.

"Black and Diggory."

"Sorry." We said at the same time.

(After class)

"Y/n." I looked to see George, "what now George?" I asked. "Why'd you sit with Diggory? I thought we were going to sit together." George told me. "To be honest Georgie, you take a very long time to eat. But it worked out you got to sit with Katie." I replied.

He put his hand over my mouth, "Shh, Katie is right over there." He told me. I pushed his hand off me mouth.

"Your really head over heels for her." I told him, "Guess were the same person then, I haven't forgot about your little-big crush on Freddie boy." He replied with a smirk plastered on his face. "Oh shove off George." I said pushing his shoulder.

"Yea shove off George!" Lee yelled from across the hall, "What'd I do to you!?" George yelled back. "I'm not sure I just heard Y/n tell you to shove off so I thought you did something stupid!" Lee yelled back causing me roll my eyes.

"Idiots." Angelina mumbled so that only I could hear. I chuckled, "oh look there's Fred." She said nodding her head toward the red head across the hall.

I walked over there and smiled at the boy, "Oh hey Y/n." He said. "Hey Freddie, why didn't you sit with us during breakfast?" I asked. "Hannah wanted to sit at the Gryffindor table with me today, but she didn't want to sit with you guys. I think she doesn't like y- Lee, Lee I don't think she likes Lee." He replied.
