"Cherie can we name her after my favorite country song?" Armand asked his mate.

Viola looked down at the angel in her arms who would carry her psychic gene.

"And what song would that be my love?" Viola asked her mate.

"Aaaadalida, purty little Cajun queen, sweet dixie flower, the belle of the bayou." Armand crooned softly to his daughter.

"Adalida.  Adalida Sylvie Fontenot." Viola said testing the name out.

"I wanted a brother." Just said with a pout as he interrupted the naming process.

"We'll try again for you my little pup." Armand said before turning back to the belle of his bayou.

"Beta did you bring in a healthy pup?" Armand heard his Alpha ask.

"Yes Alpha.  She'll be our pride and joy." Armand answered.

"Maybe the mate to my son." Alpha Etienne said.

"No way will I let that knucklehead near my sister." Just said.

"Just don't talk about the Alpha's son that way." Viola admonished.

"So Adalida huh?  Quite a name to live up to." Alpha Etienne said.

As time passed it was easy to see that Adalida would easily live up to her name.  She had her first vision at ten and shifted into her white wolf at sixteen.  During her seventeenth summer is when she had the vision that would change her life.  Viola was sharing the same vision as what was coming was a big deal for all supernaturals around the world.  It was something that had to be stopped.  However, what Adalida didn't see her mom did and that was her mate.  A psychic can never have personal visions so they'll never see their death and certainly not who their mate will be but her mom can certainly see that.

"We need to move?  And you saw her mate where we need to move too?  So I need to bring my shotgun is what you're telling me.  The twins will not be thrilled with this but our son is ready to take over the Beta position so it's fine.  The knucklehead future Alpha will be sad to learn that Adalida isn't his mate." Armand grumbled.

Viola had woken him up to tell him everything.  He'd just finished saying that when Adalida burst into their room.

"Momma.  Daddy.  We need to go to Beacon Hills." Adalida said with wide, alarmed eyes.

"Yes ma chere.  And we will.  We'll begin looking in the morning for a home there.  Now go back to bed." Armand commanded.

The rest of that summer was spent finding a new home that would be on the edge of the woods as the twins would be shifting soon, packing, setting up their son to take over the Beta position, and beginning the drive to Beacon Hills, CA.
