"It's so nice to finally meet the parents of where our sons are suddenly spending all of their time." Melissa said.

"The pleasure is ours.  They're both good boys." Viola responded with a warm smile.

"Please welcome yourselves into our home.  Unless you're vampires of course." Armand said with a smirk as we all made our way inside.

Melissa and the Stilinski let out awkward laughs as they followed.

"I'm sure you already know my daughter Coraline as she's dating Stiles.  This is her twin Violette and our eldest daughter, Adalida.  That is Addie's future husband Derek Hale.  We actually asked to meet you for a specific reason." Armand said.

Did you hear that?  Alpha declared our mate our future husband!  As he should be. Ivory declared.

I snorted only mentally for Ivory to hear and continued listening to my father explained the supernatural world.

"I'm sorry and my son is one?  Since when, how?  I'm so lost.  But it explains so much.  He seemed to change so much.  No longer needing an inhaler, becoming great in sports, and well not the most reliable at home.  But I just figured the last part was his teenage ways finally kicking in." Melissa said at a complete loss.

It made sense to her.  Asthma doesn't just go away.

"Oh!  And his vision.  Asthma doesn't just go away nor does vision repair itself without outside help.  I work in the medical field this should have stood out to me before." Melissa said in confusion.

"The human psyche has a way of explaining the supernatural or just ignoring it." Viola explained.

"I'm going to need proof.  I just can't believe this." Stilinski said.

I looked at Derek and he did his partial shift.  Stilinski fell out of his chair as he stared up with his mouth agape.  Melissa just sat frozen in her chair with eyes wide.

"Mom I'm still me.  I swear it.  I'm not a monster.  I'm a werewolf.  We aren't monsters.  I protect those who cannot protect themselves along with my pack." Scott promised.

I looked at him in pride.

"I'm still just human.  But being part of this pack is why I keep taking your baseball bat." Stiles said somewhat sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"So the fire that killed  your family that's never been explained.." Stilinski trailed off.

"What I am is why.  There are hunters of my kind.  Some stick to an honorable oath to only hunt those that hunt humans.  Then there are the monsters who hunt us whether we're bad or not.  That's what happened to my family.  A monster murdered them even though at least half of my family was human too.  Even the kids.  That hunter didn't care.  That was Kate Argent.  A monster." Derek all but growled.

"You mean the presently deceased Kate Argent?" Sheriff Stilinski asked while looking shrewdly at each of us.

"It was not one of us seeking revenge though we'd have every right to.  It was Peter.  Do you have any idea what it would be like for one of us to be trapped and hear the screaming of your family, of children, dying.  And you can't help them?  You're trapped and being burned alive yourself?  You're this magical creature and you can't help yourself or your loved ones?  Could you imagine?  Then to miraculously survive and be stuck in a coma for years reliving the nightmare for years and unable to shift?  A caged, starved animal is what you basically have once awaken.  That's how I'll describe it because no you couldn't possibly imagine.  Peter was insane." I stated coldly while maintaining eye contact with the Sheriff.
