Dookie (Hunter) POV
I awoke at dawn, still on the marble floor of Nate's room, leaning against his smaller figure. The fire had long since gone out, so I cuddled up to Nate for more warmth.
I had fallen asleep again, and a few hours later was shaken awake by a worried Nate. "You were calling out 'don't take her, please' in your sleep, I was worried" Nate said, voice full of concern, adding "You also started screaming."
He helped me off the floor, and asked me what my dream, my memory, was about.
"The war had stricken many problems. People were starving, injured, ill and broken. My mother and father had been cautious, making sure that I hadn't been killed or gotten a sickness. In this struggle to survive, my father had gone to fight with the knights, he was all they had to hope for. My mother had been ill, and went to the forest one day, returning early the next fully healed. I had been questioning how it happened, then one day, two guards showed up, and pulled her out of the house. She was to be burned at the stake for witchcraft, but she escaped. She was never seen again."
I told him this honestly, looking down at my feet and brushing my hands of my rumpled jacket.
He looked at me surprised, then asked "Was, no IS your mother Agatha Hughes? The famous witch?" He didn't look frightened or creeped out like my friends are usually. I nodded my head solemnly, and refused to meet his eyes.
"Hunter look at me." He requested, his voice firm. I looked into his eyes, "You're nothing like her, you're understanding and caring, Dookie you're amazing. Promise me that you'll always care about yourself; That you'll be this kind."His voice was unwavering, his eyes spoke the truth.
His posture was straight, but I was beginning to think he might not be.
I pulled him into a sincere and strong hug. "I need to go home, I'm working the shop today." I said as I was about to leave, before I left, he stopped me. "Take this. Please." He said, and handed me a silver chain with a small dragon symbol on the end.
"It represents your bravery." He said, softly.
I walked back home swiftly, leaving the beautiful castle behind. I changed into more comfortable black pants, black boots pulled above them, a nice white shirt, and the pendant Nate gave me.
I opened up the run-down shop, only now realizing that my dad wasn't there.

After a few hours, Nate can by. "Hey Dookie, if you want, Midna's doing better, so you can come see her." He said, happiness clear through his voice.
Together we took the walk back to the castle. After we walked inside said building, the warning bell started going off. I chased after Nate as he took on the "Princely" role. When we got to the throne room, I will never be able to un see what I did.
The Queen was on the ground, my father was being held my three guards, and he was laughing like a mad-man.
"The Queen is Dead!!!
